About us
DEI Consulting Engineers provides professional mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and aquatic consulting engineering for architects and building owners for the building service industry. The company consists of experienced and qualified designated consulting engineers, certified engineering technologists, and support staff. We specialize in providing design and contract administration services for new and renovation projects. Experienced in institutional, commercial, assembly, residential, educational, agricultural, recreational, and pharmaceutical buildings. Mechanical systems design include: site service, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, industrial process, hydronic heating, hydronic chilled water, air conditioning, ventilation, forced air heating, heat recovery, heat pump, building automation controls, etc. Mechanical systems are designed for all needs including temperature, noise and relative humidity, filtration, ventilation, pressurization and system control. Electrical systems design include building power requirements, interior/exterior lighting, building power distribution, security systems, fire alarm systems, computer network systems, emergency life safety systems including generators, and communication and surveillance systems. Electrical systems are designed for all needs including owner equipment requirements, proper lighting levels, task lighting, morality lighting, computer networking, and life safety systems. Refrigeration systems design includes ammonia refrigeration plants for arenas, energy efficiency and integration with mechanical systems, and grocery store refrigeration systems. Aquatic systems designs include custom filtration systems for new and renovated aquatic facilities (competition pools, leisure pool, therapy pool or spa, splash pads, and water features) including hydraulic calculations and integration with mechanical heating and dehumidification systems.

Day 31 of install of 1620 Main St., a 6-storey #affordable housing #masstimber multi-family residential building. 5th floor #CLT walls are going up! Fun to see those panels flying by crane.
