It’s easy to forget how much we rely on Canada’s oil and natural gas industry. From boosting our economy to providing the fuel and everyday goods made from oil byproducts that keep our communities running, these resources play a vital role in our daily lives. Without a strong oil and gas industry, Canada can’t run smoothly. Learn more: https://bit.ly/40qJJKy #HelpingCanadaRunSmoothly

Last month our employee network, Stronger Together with Women at Cenovus, co-hosted a panel with Bantrel about the important role that male allyship plays in championing women in the workplace and creating gender equity in our offices and at our sites.
It's been a strong Q4, and one highlight we're especially proud of is our partnership with Cenovus Energy in co-hosting the panel, Stronger Together: A Candid Conversation on Male Allyship. Moderated by Almas Kassam, the panel featured speakers, Keith Chiasson, Executive Vice-President & COO at Cenovus and Darren C., President & CEO of Bantrel Co.. Focusing on the shared belief in championing women in the workplace and the important role of male advocacy in advancing gender equity, the event created opportunity for great discussion and continued collaboration. We supported the Rovers Search and Rescue team in purchasing a new rescue unit to help strengthen the team’s ability to provide critical emergency response services across Newfoundland and Labrador. Safety is our top priority and partnering with organizations like Rovers is one way we help protect residents in the Atlantic region, which is home to over 400 members of our workforce.

Congratulations to the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation on another successful Dodge for a Cause! The annual event raised $238,600 for critical health care needs in the Lloydminster region. This was our third year as a sponsor, and our Cenovus employee teams brought their A-game to the tournament. Cenovus employee, Craig Pardy, Sr. Manager of Operations & Maintenance, also spoke at the event. Events like this support our social investment priorities, including developing future-ready youth, supporting resilient communities and advancing the social and economic inclusion of Indigenous Peoples through health care.
