On Monday, I was privileged to take part in Association of Consulting Engineering Companies - Ontario (ACEC-Ontario) Queen's Park Day. It is truly rewarding to have meaningful dialogues with MPPs and staff on important matters as we ‘Engineer Ontario Forward’. It was also great to reconnect with industry colleagues and partners, as well as to make new connections. What a vibrant, talented, and committed industry we are a part of! To come together under one roof and share our passion for shaping our future is truly inspiring. I would like to thank Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, MPP Matthew Rae, and Attorney General the Hon. Doug Downey, for their time and input on education and investments in STEM development, and removing the barriers to value-based procurement. Also, a big thanks to our ACEC leadership for their time and dedication in making this event a success! Thank you Doug DeRabbie, Laura Lambie, Michelle West, and Andrew Hurd for your tireless effort and advocacy! #EngineeringOntarioForward
