Current alarm I use for ease of reproduction

SUMMARY
Hello! As of the latest update to kalarm (3.9.0), alarms that play a sound file do not repeat themselves when configured to do so, playing once instead. I use kalarm as a substitute for an alarm clock, and this makes it less effective in that role (that is to say, I've found myself accidentally sleeping in since the change).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download alarm attachment
2. Import alarm attachment in kalarm
3. Open up attachment alarm configuration
4. Open up the sound file configuration window to confirm that it's meant to repeat itself
5. Close the sound configuration window, and select 'Try' to trigger the alarm early

OBSERVED RESULT
The sound file only plays once.

EXPECTED RESULT
The sound file should continuously repeat itself.

Thank you for reporting this. It is now fixed in KAlarm version 3.9.1 which should be included in KDE Gear 24.08.1, by git commit 0533e2ff74b2c689a62b9e98b7f76c418f76dab2.
