Description Jens Ramke 2020-08-14 11:03:08 UTC
I would like to request the ability to configure mouse buttons and wheel events in the shortcut settings menu.
This could be done e.g. by adding a new tab in the shortcut menu or by adding mouse button input to the current one.

Example use cases:
- Enable use of mouse buttons 4 and 5
- Configure mouse wheel (this could resolve https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388116 to mutual satisfaction as well)

Thiago,

This solution is for Plasma desktop only. digiKam work on all Linux Desktops, MacOS and Windows. So it's not suitable.

Solution: to have a low level settings in digiKam configure panel, but of course, you will said, hey, another application setting...

Note: if we add this configuration in digiKam, we will need to take a care about desktop settings too to prevent concurrency.
