The Danish VGP team is happy to have VTK A/S as our latest tenant at VGP Park Vejle. The supplier of non-food consumer goods and the sister company Blite A/S are moving into approximately 5,700 m2 in Building D, using the space as their headquarters, including offices, storage facilities, and a B2B showroom. VGP Park Vejle is going to be a hub for innovation, featuring state-of-the-art infrastructure and tailored solutions to cater to the tenant’s unique needs, leveraging our in-house technical expertise. The project also focuses on sustainable solutions, such as solar installations, electric vehicle chargers, and initiatives to enhance local biodiversity, aiming for the DGNB Gold certification. VGP Denmark secured more than 175,000 m2 of land near Vejle, strategically located adjacent to the E45 at Vejle S. The park is set to become a thriving hub for innovation and is going to have a total lettable area of more than 80,000 m2 for light industrial and logistics activities, spread over four buildings. After the first 16,000 m2 being built and leased out, construction on the next buildings is starting, providing 11,000 m2 of available space for innovative businesses. Very pleased to announce the signing of the second closing of our 50:50 SAGA joint venture, which is held between VGP and our partner Areim Pan-European Logistics Fund (D) AB. The transaction comprises 4 logistics buildings in 4 different VGP Parks in France, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. This second closing has been priced at a gross asset value of € 120 million, generating approximately € 88 million in gross cash proceeds for VGP, it is part of a series with a pre-agreed investment target of € 1.5 billion. With this transaction, the SAGA Joint Venture’s property portfolio now consists of 21 buildings, totalling around 564,000 m2 of gross lettable area, which is 100% let. Thumbs up for our Romanian team! VGP Park Brasov Building H has obtained the BREEAM Outstanding certification, being the first logistics buildings in Romania achieving this high level. Among others, the project has obtained the certification because of its eco-efficient features, its responsible construction practises, and its sustainable construction materials. Additionally, its good results in the energy performance certificate, the installation of EV chargers, and its focus on improving the local biodiversity by installing bird boxes and bug hotels, have been important factors for the Outstanding certification. Achieving the BREEAM Outstanding certification for this project is a great recognition for the dedication of our entire team and underscores our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and quality in building design and construction. Delighted to share the VGP Foundation article about the Katra River Valley biodiversity project, to be read in our latest Location3 magazine. The article highlights the process of wetlands restoration and promoting biodiversity by sustainable tourism at Paramélis Island, a biodiversity hotspot in southern Lithuania. Sustainable tourism plays a crucial role in raising public awareness and minimizing human disturbance in valuable natural areas. The VGP Foundation donated € 50,000, overseen by Germany’s Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU International Naturschutzstiftung), to support several initiatives. These enhancements not only protect the delicate biodiversity but also provide nature lovers a chance to observe and appreciate the beauty of Paramėlis Island without causing harm. The Czech VGP team is happy to announce the completion of the final phase of VGP Park Olomouc. The last building, a 4,267 m2 state-of-the-art hall and office space, has been leased out to Mapei. It is Community Day time for our VGP teams across Europe! All our teams dedicate one day to a volunteering activity, contributing to the local community. Our VGP colleagues from the Czech Republic planted trees in Pelikovice u Rychnova u Jablonce nad Nisou, and attended a lecture from a specialist in forest management, describing the natural history of the area and practical aspects of its reforestation. The activity is part of the Ivan Dejmal Foundation for Nature Protection, focused on restoring the forests and supported by our VGP Foundation. Our Slovakian colleagues cleaned the Bratislava City Forest Park, called Zelezna studnicka, one of the city’s most important recreational locations for relaxation and sports. The VGP volunteers took care of the plants, and cleaned the trails and forest roads. In Latvia, our VGP team enthusiastically build a garden house for the Social Care Center in Kekava. Various developmental and creative classes are going to be organised in the garden house for the clients of the Social Care Center. Our Danish VGP team had a very productive day at the FrivilligCenter Greve, made possible by the Greve Volunteer Center. They renovated a space for youth in the municipality, a place to gather and participate in various activities. Among other things, our VGP colleagues painted and assembled furniture in the company of young participants. A big thanks to our colleagues for making a positive impact! #VGP #CommunityDay #Volunteer
