It’s the people that make our port, and they've been doing so for centuries. We write stories, day in and day out. Our book is never fully written. At the end of 2024, we will be closing a beautiful chapter full of experiences and adventures. We turn the page to 2025; a year full of opportunities to write new stories. Together, we shape the future, always one step ahead. Together, we keep moving forward. Happy New Year!
About us
Port of Antwerp-Bruges is a centuries-old double gateway to Europe and one of the biggest ports in the world. Follow us for the latest updates on how we’re working hard to become the port of the future, in tune with the world. We are the port authority. This means we play a key role in the port's day-to-day operations, to make it function and grow. We manage and maintain the docks, the bridges, the locks, the quay walls and the land. We’re also responsible for safe shipping traffic there. Apart from that, we provide tugs and cranes, carry out dredging work and promote the #PortofAntwerpBruges at home and abroad. We have a strong focus on the future, with sustainable development, transition and resilience as our top priorities.

On 5 December, we successfully hosted the 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶 𝗙𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 at the Port House in Antwerp. 💡 The event provided a valuable platform for attendees to gain key insights about the latest developments in the #LNG, #methanol, and #ammonia markets. Highlights included a deep dive session on the ins and outs of methanol and ammonia bunkering. At the end, our experts presented the port's strategy and approach for establishing a solid framework to support the adoption of these alternative fuels. ♻ Thank you to all participants for your contributions and interest! #Multifuel #KnowledgeExchange
