Hooray! 🙌 Today we official kicked off the construction of the Antwerp Coordination Center (ACC) at Zandvliet-Berendrecht Lock. Allow us to list a few details about this amazing new eight-storey building: - It is a state-of-the-art coordination centre with a focus on efficiency and sustainability - Operational at the end of 2026 - Bringing together all partners from the nautical chain and optimising the port activities In other words: the ACC is another step in reinforcing our position as a pioneering global port. In a VR setting identical to a real-life situation, our boatmen learn all about personal protective equipment, how to recognise dangerous situations and where best to position themselves to work safely. On 5 December, we successfully hosted the 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶 𝗙𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 at the Port House in Antwerp. 💡 The event provided a valuable platform for attendees to gain key insights about the latest developments in the #LNG, #methanol, and #ammonia markets. Highlights included a deep dive session on the ins and outs of methanol and ammonia bunkering.
