🌟 We are excited to announce the official launch of the HR+ Project, marked by its first transnational meeting and national event held in Padova, Italy 🇮🇹, on 19–20 November. Organised by the project coordinator, Fòrema, the two-day gathering brought together the 7 partners (IT, ES, HU, PT, BE) to exchange ideas and lay the foundations for modernising the role of HR managers in knowledge-intensive industries. We proudly contributed by presenting the dissemination and exploitation strategy (WP4). This key work package focuses on aligning communication efforts to ensure the project’s progress reaches a wide and diverse European audience, maximising its impact. A significant highlight of the meeting was Veneto Lavoro’s presentation on the training needs analysis (WP2). This essential component will explore the evolving HR profile, address skill gaps, and identify best practices through surveys, interviews, and case studies, with results expected by April 2025. Fòrema closed the session by presenting the quality assurance framework (WP1), outlining the responsibilities, roles, and timelines essential to the project’s success. On the second day, the project’s first national event took place, moderated by Roberto Baldo. Matteo Sinigaglia, General Director at Fòrema, opened the event with a welcome speech, followed by insightful contributions from industry experts: - Tiziano Barone, Director at Veneto Lavoro, discussed how HR profiles can address workforce challenges and foster transparent employment practices. - Paolo Gubitta, Full Professor at Università degli Studi di Padova, highlighted the importance of “fusion skills” like intelligent interrogation and reciprocal learning, particularly in the context of AI and the twin transition. - Elvio Mauri, General Director of Fondimpresa, explained the role of the European Social Fund and interprofessional funds in supporting HR managers’ development. - Francesca Nadalin from Veneto Lavoro presented data on the countries selected for the HR+ Project, outlining how the new HR profile can benefit these regions. - Roberta Fagotto, Chief Human Capital at SIT, shared insights into AI’s transformative influence on the HR profession. - Carlo Vanin, Chief HR & Organisation Officer at CAREL, provided practical examples of how HR can enhance workplace motivation and culture. We are proud to be part of this innovative project and look forward to sharing updates as the initiative progresses. 🔗 Learn more about HR+: https://lnkd.in/gE5-sPen #HRPlusAcademy #ErasmusPlus #VET #HumanResources Fòrema | #EVTA | Fondazione Aldini Valeriani | GDOCE | PC-Trend Kft. | PREVIFORM - Laboratório, Formação, Higiene e Segurança no Trabalho, Lda | Veneto Lavoro

✈️ The tourism sector is undergoing a transformation, and upskilling and reskilling are at the heart of this change. TOURing Project has reached a milestone with its final conference held on December 5th at DG GROW in Brussels. 🧳 As the project concludes, we reflect on the shared experiences, valuable discussions, and the lasting impact on the tourism sector. The event was a great opportunity to explore the future of tourism education, upskilling, and sustainability. 💡 We delved into the importance of cooperation across organizations to tackle the skills shortages in the tourism sector. Key insights were shared on how the European Commission is leading the future of sustainable tourism and lifelong learning, with a focus on how education and skills training can evolve to meet the demands of a rapidly changing industry. 🗣️ Our speakers shared how new policies are addressing the skills gaps, and highlighted the role of microcredentials and innovative training methodologies in helping workers stay ahead. Discussions centered around the challenges and opportunities faced by tourism SMEs, where the need for upskilling and reskilling was emphasized, particularly when it comes to embracing new technologies and sustainability practices. 👏 Thank you to all the participants and speakers for making this event meaningful, and to everyone who’s contributed to the success of the TOURing project.
