Biotech on the spotlight 🩵🧬🩵🧬🩵🧬   The European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) placed #biotech as core technology for Europe Platform in their latest 2025 EIC Work Programme.   EuropaBio - the European Association for Bioindustries welcomes the Programme as part of a long-term vision to set an ambitious and competitive European biotech ecosystem. An integrated approach from early research to access to the market is more than needed for biotech and biomanufacturing applications. EuropaBio looks towards the future EU #BiotechAct to complement these financing efforts and ensure the EU environment supports the development and deployment of biotech innovation.   Published a few days ago, the Programme established a funding system to support innovative and resilient sectors advancing EU leader role in solving urgent global challenges. Last month, we marked the beginning of the 12th edition of the European Biotech Week with a fruitful webinar discussing the critical intersection of legislation and investment into innovation within the biotech industries.
