🌍 Wrap-Up: Green Hydrogen Valley & Hubs Week - Netherlands Visit🇳🇱 🇮🇳 Green hydrogen stands at the forefront of India and the Netherlands' journey toward a net-zero economy. To meet future hydrogen demands and accelerate technology deployment, collaboration is key. Under the Climate & Energy Response Facility, the Netherlands Embassy and Netherlands Enterprise Agency organized a mission focusing on hydrogen valleys (regions producing, storing, and utilizing green hydrogen) and hydrogen hubs (import-export corridors). This mission brought Indian government officials from the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India (DST) and Government of Kerala, academia from the states of Odisha, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan, and representatives from shipping sector to the Netherlands for a study tour. During the program, Indian delegates explored the Dutch green hydrogen ecosystem through site visits, expert meetings, and presentations from leading organizations. Highlights included attending European Hydrogen Week in Brussels, visiting the Indian & Dutch pavilion, and witnessing the MoU signing between Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited and H2Global Foundation. Key visits and discussions: 1. Port of Rotterdam & RDM Innovation Campus. 2. Industrial Park Kleefse Waard, Arnhem. 3. ENTRANCE - Centre of Expertise Energy Innovation Facility, Groningen. 4. TNO Faraday Lab, Petten. 5. Panel discussion with Topsector Energie, Nedstack Fuel Cell Technology & XINTC about how the Netherlands and India can learn and cooperate together to create hydrogen valleys. 6. Panel discussion with Tata Steel Nederland, Investa and Provincie Noord-Holland about setting up hydrogen valleys H2Hub NH For the hydrogen market, infrastructure is key. The Netherlands is leading as a Gateway to Europe, while India aims to be a major exporter. Collaboration is key!👇Our highlights from European Hydrogen Week in #Brussels at three different levels illustrate why: European Hydrogen Week once again confirmed something we have long believed: 🤝 Achieving scale in hydrogen is far easier through strong partnerships. Across global, national and corporate levels, we saw the industry coming together to make significant strides toward a cleaner future. 𝗢𝗻 𝗮 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 We applaud the many international MOUs signed during the event, marking key milestones in our collective effort to move beyond fossil fuels. Congrats to Hydrogen Europe for driving these impactful collaborations with GH2 India and H2 Chile forward! 𝗢𝗻 𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 We showcased how our #AEM Electrolysers can support building an international hydrogen supply chain in the Mediterranean. This initiative is being spearheaded by collaboration between Tyrrhenian and Egyptian ports, which are working on structuring their first pilot project. A special thanks to the Port System Authority of the Northern Tyrrhenian Sea for inviting us to contribute to this exciting effort. 𝗢𝗻 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 In Brussels, we connected with long-standing and new partners alike. For example, Symbase Hydrogen Energy’s team, led by Klaudiusz Dominiak, recently ordered their first Enapter electrolysers and is eager to strengthen our partnership to advance decarbonisation efforts in Poland. At Enapter, strong partnerships have always been at the core of our strategy. This network has now grown to 100+ global partners.
