Transition to Windows 11 with Datacom. Datacom is ready to help Australian and New Zealand businesses upgrade to Windows 11 after signing an agreement with Microsoft to be a Strategic Refresh Initiative (SRI) partner for the local market. With Windows 10's end of support date of October 2025, all businesses should be planning to make the shift to Windows 11 ahead of that date to avoid any potential disruption and take advantage of greater integrations with the variety of Copilots available. The benefits of the new Operating System include advanced security features, better performance driven by specialised hardware such as Neural Processing Units (NPUs) that optimise AI tasks, improved collaboration, and enhanced productivity with Copilot+ PCs coming with built-in AI tools to streamline tasks and find information quickly. I am excited to share the results of the Australian Government's M365 Copilot trial that ran earlier this year between Jan and Jun. The trial by the Australian Public Service (APS) involved 7,600 users across more than 60 agencies and was one of the first deployments of Copilot within the public sector globally.    Key Highlights include: ✅ 86% of trial participants wished to continue to use Copilot (including 92% of senior executives) ✅ 77% were optimistic about Copilot  ✅ Participants saved up to an hour a day, using this time for higher-value activities like mentoring, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. The trial also emphasised the importance of tailored training and change management to maximise the benefits of generative AI, with 75% of participants who received three or more forms of training feeling the most confident in using Copilot. This is no surprise and when speaking with customers, is often the number one factor to successful adoption.    The trial paves the way for Australia's technology sector to engage with local providers, partners, and other major tech players to fully realise the potential of generative AI.
