🎉 VeinTech Partners with NEMIC to Transform Vascular Access in the US! 🇦🇺🤝🇺🇸 We are thrilled to announce that VeinTech has partnered with the The New England Medical Innovation Center (NEMIC) in Providence, Rhode Island, marking our official entry into the US market! This collaboration makes VeinTech the first Perth based company to utilize the biobridge established between Western Australia and Rhode Island as part of an MoU signed between Perth Biodesign and NEMIC in March 2024, unlocking significant opportunities for healthcare innovation across continents. Thank you to everyone who have facilitated this partnership - Peter Traianou Michael Pereira Stephen Dawson Kevin Pfleger Aidan Petrie Lydia Shin Schroter, MBA Maey Petrie Andrew Williamson. Here’s what our leaders have to say about this exciting milestone: 💬 Dr. Nikhilesh Bappoo, Co-Founder & Co-CEO: “Our goal is to impact the most common invasive medical procedure on the planet. This partnership with NEMIC will enable us to effectively deliver our novel medical technologies to underserved patients in the US market. NEMIC was a no-brainer to call home after our recent visit to Providence.” 💬 Peter Traianou, Chairman: “Right vein, first time, every time. Simple words but powerful for anyone who has experienced failed cannula insertions. This partnership with NEMIC and Rhode Island allows us to accelerate development, solve a global problem, and bring VeinTech’s solution to the US market. The potential is enormous!” 💬 A/Prof Peter Carr, Clinical Advisor and Vascular Access Expert: "This partnership will not only disrupt current practices but act as a catalyst for further innovation in vascular access and infusion therapy. VeinTech's novel approach to ultrasound-guided PIVC insertion is just the beginning. This partnership will be further enhanced by VeinTech’s existing European connections through Ireland facilitating cross-Atlantic collaboration and catalyse a surge in related technologies and complementary solutions, whilst enabling rapid commercialization and global adoption." 🌍 Why this matters: Peripheral intravenous catheter (PIVC) insertion is the most common invasive procedure in hospitals, performed 1 billion times annually. Yet, first-attempt failure rates can reach 40%, causing discomfort, inefficiencies, and increased healthcare costs. 🌐 Learn more about our mission: www.veintech.com.au Nicholas Buckley Katherine Arenson Jamie Davison WA Life Sciences Innovation Hub MTPConnect Tracey Wilkinson Roop Judge Stuart Dignam RI Life Science Hub Patrice Milos, PhD Lilia Kirtley Holt Government of Western Australia Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation Natasha M. What a cracking few days in Denver for VeinTech at the AVA (Association for Vascular Access) conference! From focus groups, podium presentations and value creating meetings, our team Nikhilesh Bappoo, Nicholas Buckley and Peter Carr really put VeinTech on the map! 🧐 Our SOLD OUT focus group was full of excitement and helped us unlock some great insights and feedback on how our technology can improve outcomes for patients, clincians and providers alike. Thank you to the AVA team Judy Thompson and Tonya Hutchison, CAE for making this possible for us 🙏 📚 Next up was our DATA - we had the opportunity to share the science behind the technology in a podium presentation alongside leading researchers. We covered pre-clinical performance, usability evaluations and healthy volunteer data from our technology validation studies. Looking forward to all the collaborating with the best in the field to continue building our comprehensive pipeline of evidence. 🤝 Finally, we were OVERWHELMED by the warm welcome by the global community of Vascular Access clinicians, innovators and industry who we connected with. Thank you to everyone who took the opportunity to hear about VeinTech and convince us to come back! See you all in Florida in 2025 🏖

🌍 World Patient Safety Day - September 17, 2024 🌍 ❤️ In line with this year’s theme, "Get it right, make it safe!", our mission is clear: find the right vein, first time, every time. By reducing pain and uncertainty of IV access, we are committed to creating a healthcare environment where patients feel safe, supported, and valued throughout their care journey. ⚡ At VeinTech, our goal is to enhance patient safety by providing accurate vein visualization for patients with difficult intravenous access, while ensuring ease of use for clinicians and making our solutions accessible to healthcare organizations. 💉 Multiple needle insertion attempts can be traumatic, leading to fear, healthcare avoidance, and delayed medical visits. Needle phobia has surged in recent decades, now affecting 10% to 25% of the population—a critical issue often overlooked in healthcare. ✨ Stay tuned for exciting announcements coming soon—follow us on our socials for updates! Let’s continue driving solutions that make patient care safer and more compassionate. #WorldPatientSafetyDay #PatientCare #HealthcareInnovation #VeinTech #GetItRightMakeItSafe #NeedlePhobia #PatientSafety

We had the pleasure of attending the CEED program seminar at The University of Western Australia as part of our industry-research partnership to foster meaningful local collaboration to continue growing our ability to address unmet clinical needs while nurturing the amazing talent in our local medical innovation ecosystem. Students presented their interesting projects, and our very own, Ellaby Hansen, presented her project with VeinTech focusing on the fluid dynamics of blood flow in veins under the supervision of academic A/Prof Elena M De-Juan-Pardo and industry supervisors Nikhilesh Bappoo,Hao Ho and Michael Liddelow. A huge thank you to the CEED team (Jeremy Leggoe and Kimberlie Hancock) for organizing such a great event and for facilitating this industry-research collaboration!
