We had a lot of fun celebrating the merger of Gadens and Trinity Law with valued clients and friends of our firms at the National Portrait Gallery, Canberra. Gadens and Trinity Law were two ambitious firms with shared values and a shared vision – and we are now on a combined journey to create one of Australia’s leading, independent law firms. One with Australia, Australian communities, Australian businesses and Australian policies at the centre of everything that we do. CEO and Managing Partner Mark Pistilli shared with guests the history of Gadens and our commitment to support our communities across the country from our offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney – and now Canberra – and to help guide our clients and others through an increasingly complex and regulated world. John Irvine, head Partner in our Canberra office, extended his thanks to the Canberra community that has been part of Trinity Law’s journey for the last 20 years. Congratulations to Phillip Hansen from our Commerical Team, who has recently been made co-chair of the ACT Law Society's New Lawyers Committee. The New Lawyers Committee is dedicated to furthering the interests of ACT lawyers in their first five years of practice, and is a wonderful support to those starting out in the profession. 

Trinity Law is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Terry Snow AM.   He was a great Canberran, who leaves behind an enduring legacy in the nation’s capital. Terry’s vision for and investment in the Canberra Airport precinct and Willinga Park have transformed those facilities into world class hubs, and his commitment to creating a more caring and inclusive community through The Snow Foundation was obvious to all that dealt with him.   Our thoughts and condolences are with Ginette, Tom, Georgina, Stephen, Scarlett and the wider Snow family.

Great to be a part of Team Gadens!

We are excited to announce that Trinity Law is merging with leading national law firm Gadens! Adding to Gadens’ existing offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide, and their affiliates in Perth, we will be able to support our clients as they do business across the whole of the country. Including those coming across from Trinity Law, the fully-integrated national firm will comprise 106 partners, more than 350 lawyers and over 600 total staff. Each Friday our staff dress 'casual for a cause', with Trinity Law matching staff donations. This past quarter we were supporting the Australian Brain Cancer Foundation. It is a cause close to us, with our Commercial Group Principal John Irvine being a founding director and board member. The Foundation is dedicated to being the leading foundation for primary brain cancer awareness, research, and advocacy in the ACT region and their core mission revolves around improving outcomes for brain cancer patients. https://lnkd.in/gd-Gv5Jd
