2024 was a great year for our Disability Employment Service (DES) and we're aiming to make 2025 even greater! 🎇 This year we helped some incredible people find work in areas like Childcare, flooring, and even fibreglass manufacturers. Now these superstars are kicking goals and their bosses even see them running the company some day. 🤩 We are seeking employers with vision who are determined to add to or commence their inclusive workforce in 2025. If that's you, please contact our Business Manager, Simone Taylor, at [email protected] 📧 Or read more about DES here 👉 https://bit.ly/4d6Icw9 🔗 #DisabilityEmployment #CareerSuccess #DisabilitySuccess

We're proud to have partnered with the Parliament of Victoria, supporting their commitment to making parliamentary spaces and services more inclusive and accessible. Their recent Communication Access Accreditation highlights their dedication to creating accessible spaces and services for all. This milestone reflects their commitment to actioning their Disability Action and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) and ensuring effective communication for people with communication access requirements, fostering a more welcoming environment for all. Learn more about their journey and achievements here: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gu_tcsCJ This article was written by Clara Yew, a participant in Parliament of Victoria’s youth writing program called Parliament Express. In that program young people are encouraged to write an article for Parliament of Victoria’s website about an aspect of their work that they are interested in. Scope (Aust) and Parliament of Victoria are thrilled Clara chose the DAIP and Communication Access Accreditation for this project. #CommunicationAccess #Inclusion #AccessibleParliament #Scope #Partnerships #AccessibleCommunication #DisabilityInclusion

Scope clients in the All Stars Choir recently demonstrated that rock music is not just a way of life but also a path to inclusion. 🎸 Last week, they performed for the students of Billanook College, with the volume cranked up, the inclusive language of music and joy brought the students to their feet in a standing ovation. 🕺 The All Stars Choir delivered electrifying performances of crowd favourites from AC/DC to Lil Nas X, creating an unforgettable experience for all. 🎵 The All Stars all-abilities choir is a beloved activity for Scope’s participants from the Boronia, Mitcham and Syndal Social Connections. Every Wednesday, they come together to sing, dance, and play instruments with professional musicians, fostering a sense of community and joy. 😃 To find your nearest Social Connections program, click here 👉 https://bit.ly/3UEWEnt 🔗 To learn more about joining the All Stars Choir, contact [email protected] 📧 #Choir #Inclusion #AllStars #AllAbilities

Some of our team from head office took a trip down to Chelsea Social Connections last week, getting their hands dirty for a good cause! 🌞 They trimmed, swept, and prepped the garden for Summer, making it a more accessible and enjoyable space for everyone. 🍃🌳🌻 Even Aspen, our furry supervisor pitched in with lots of love and tail wags.🐾 Chelsea Social Connections is an amazing location with incredibly dedicated staff and lovely participants, who more than deserved a garden that reflects their commitment.
