How exciting, congratulations Elizabeth Wright PLY! 👏
I am so excited to announce I am a finalist in the Australian Sports Commission Media Awards in the Best coverage of sport for people with disability! What an honour and acknowledgment for all the stories I’ve told this year. I wouldn’t be in this position without all of the athletes, experts, coaches, etc who trusted me to tell their stories, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I also wouldn’t be here without the support of the ABC Sports team - collaboration and teamwork is such a core part of what we do. The awards night will be in February next year, and win or lose, I’m so proud to be a finalist and happy to have a chance to get dressed up and celebrate quality sports reporting. A huge shoutout to my colleagues as well who are finalists - Amanda Shalala Brittany Carter and Charles Brice - I’m so proud of us all ⭐️ Saxton Group Marian M.
