Wow! What a year it’s been for the Ruminati team! As we wrap up 2024, we’re reflecting on the highlights and achievements made possible by our amazing community of producers and partners. From industry events to exciting collaborations, here’s a snapshot of the journey so far: 🌟 Events That Mattered: Whether it was attending Beef 2024 (aka the “Beef Olympics”) and the Beef Battle tour with Mort & Co and Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise, presenting at WagyuEdge and the Henty Machinery Field Days, speaking at the Climate Investor Forum, AgTech24 and Commonwealth Bank’s Momentum, or exhibiting at BeefEx, Paraway Pastoral Company Limited Field Day or the Grains Research and Development Corporation Showcase, we’ve had an incredible year of conversations about data, emissions, and sustainable ag innovation. 🌟Powerful Partnerships: Phase 2 of the T2T project with FMG Global and McDonald's got underway, and we progressed from pilot to partnership with Commonwealth Bank. We also deepened collaborations with StockCo 100% Livestock Finance, the Australian Wagyu Association, and Gundagai Lamb, and forged exciting new partnerships with Rabobank Australia and Rural Bank. Being featured in the CommBank and Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Sustainability Reports was icing on the cake! 🌟Innovation at Work: Our new dairy tool expanded our suite to include beef, sheep, wool, grain, dairy, feedlot, and processor users. With farm data code certification and a sleek new website (thanks, Nakatomi!), Ruminati is ready for the challenges of 2025. Finally, with fresh faces like Bill Findlay, Iain Kirkpatrick, and Fernando Matsunaga joining the team this year, we’re geared up for what’s next. Here’s to building on 2024’s momentum and tackling even bigger challenges in 2025! #AgInnovation #SustainableAg #2024Wrap #AgTech

Last week, our CEO Bobby Miller and Customer Engagement Lead Bill Findlay joined industry leaders at the Impact X Decarb Forum to dive into the future of emissions management in agriculture. It was an inspiring day of roundtable discussions and panel presentations from key players working to create a more sustainable agricultural future 🌱🚜 A standout moment? The conversation on tackling scope 3 emissions, moderated by Mark Rowland from the Climate Action Foundation, with insights from Lion’s Justin Merrell, Inghams Group Limited’s Phil Senn, Nestlé’s Amanda Robertson, and NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development’s Aaron Simmons. The discussion shed light on how corporations are managing emissions under the new reporting laws, tailoring initiatives to suit diverse production systems, and ensuring that solutions reflect the complexity of ag operations. It’s inspiring to see how much action the industry has already taken—and how ready farmers are to showcase their sustainability efforts. Here at Ruminati, we know managing Scope 3 emissions is no small feat, but forums like these prove we’re on the right track. We're committed to keeping farmers at the centre of the conversation, empowering them with tools to track their emissions and share their sustainability stories. Great work is happening across the ag industry, and together, we can ensure those efforts are amplified. #decarbonsiation #agemissions #sustainableag

This week, our COO Will Onus hit the road, joining Rebecca Honeysett (McDonald's), Connor FitzGerald (FMG Global), and producers Caitlin McConnel, Benny Drynan, and Amanda Roughan, for a visit to the T2T Esk Producer Hub. The group toured Ben’s property, Gallinani, where discussions focused on how the T2T Project is supporting beef producers to build emissions profiles that not only improve sustainability but also inform production and drive productivity. As a producer himself, what really struck Will during the visit was the impressive balance Ben is achieving at Galliani. He’s pushing production on his property forward with practices like sowing multi-species cover crops enriched with recycled organic fertiliser (which you can see in the photo), while also managing three generations of native timber for sustainable timber production. Esk is buzzing with innovation- we’re excited to be back in the region again next week and to see what has been achieved in Rockhampton and Monto too. #T2T #SustainableAg #SustainableFarming

🌾🐂 Last week, our COO, Will Onus, had the privilege of speaking on the Carbon Tech Fusion panel at Central Highlands Development Corporation’s AgTech24 in Emerald. With carbon reporting pressures mounting for producers after the new emissions reporting laws came into play, the panel dived into the challenges farmers are facing and, most importantly, how the right tools can turn compliance into opportunity. The discussion explored the evolving carbon space and highlighted how producers can gain real value by taking control of their emissions data. It was a privilege to share the stage with industry leaders like Australian Agricultural Company (AACo)’s Claire Mahony, Carbonaught Pty Ltd’s Rhys Heffernan, Zero Net Emissions Agriculture CRC’s Ben Hayes and Josh Peart from the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries. A huge thanks to CHDC for hosting such a vibrant and thought-provoking event—Emerald, we’ll be back! #AgTech24 #EmissionsTracking #farmemissions #agtech

We're thrilled to share that Ruminati’s collaboration with Rural Bank was featured in Bendigo and Adelaide Bank’s 2024 Sustainability Report as a highlight of the year! Through this pilot, select Rural Bank customers gained access to Ruminati’s emissions calculator, enabling them to measure their carbon footprint, identify reduction opportunities, and showcase sustainability efforts across their supply chains. This pilot isn’t just about data—it’s about giving producers the tools to make informed decisions that benefit both their business and the environment. We’re grateful to work alongside the team at Rural Bank who are also committed to this goal! 📖 Read more here (we’re on pages 122 & 124): https://lnkd.in/gV6BAczA #sustainability #emissions #agtech #aginnovation

Phew! We’ve finally caught our breath after an incredible week at #BeefEx 🐂 From thought-provoking plenary and breakout sessions to some truly insightful conversations, the focus on sustainability and emissions was clear. A big highlight was hearing from The North Australian Pastoral Company’s (NAPCO) Darryl Savage, who pointed out the huge potential of feedlots as a testing ground for innovation, driving sustainability across the whole industry. We’ve seen firsthand how keen feedlotters are to jump into the emissions space! We’d also like to share a huge congratulations to David Brown on winning the Outstanding Industry Service award during the event! David’s been a true trailblazer in carbon abatement, and we’re proud to be working with him as he measures his feedlot’s carbon output through Ruminati and Greenstock. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gj4qXQsP A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with us during the event, it was a real privilege to be in Brisbane alongside the best in the business. 🐂 The Ruminati team has been having an amazing first day at the #BeefEx! Under the bright lights of the trade hall, we’ve had some great conversations about emissions management for feedlots and testing of our platform. The buzz around emissions tracking is definitely growing, especially with new reporting legislation for the supply chain, and it’s been great the see producers jumping at the chance to get on top of it all (our offer of one year’s free access to Ruminati PRIME doesn’t seem to hurt either!) It’s been fantastic catching up with friends too, including Sam Ditchfield from Greenstock, Michael Crowley from Meat & Livestock Australia, Britt Rinker and Simone Barakat from Number 8 bio, Ciaran O'Gorman and Morgan Walker from StockCo 100% Livestock Finance, Stephen O'Brien from Mort & Co, the Black Box Co team, and David Mathieson from Agripro Insurance Brokers (who we’re looking forward to seeing at the Gala Dinner later tonight too)! There’s still an hour or so left to go on the trade show floor, and tomorrow’s looking even bigger, with sessions on managing feedlot emissions. Bring on the big conversations 👏 #farmemissions #feedlots #emissionstracking Australian Lot Feeders' Association

Last week, our COO Will Onus hit the road with the Fulton Market Group team to explore the Darling Downs ahead of the Toowoomba Surat Basin 2024 Beef Battle. It was a great opportunity to check out the future of ag in Queensland and see how the Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise is driving innovation and building connections across the industry. A huge shoutout to Scott Braund and Brad Robinson from Mort & Co for the tour of the impressive Grass Dale Feedlot—a real eye-opener to the scale and sophistication happening in Toowoomba. As Will put it: “The opportunities in Toowoomba are hard to miss. The scale of the operations here, along with the level of innovation, really shows how agriculture is moving forward in this region. It’s impressive to see firsthand.” To top it all off, we wrapped up the day with the Beef Battle—congrats to Stockyard for nabbing the Judges’ Award and Stanbroke for taking out the People’s Choice! We’d like to give a big thanks to April Cavanagh, Rowena Beveridge, and Anna Geddes from TSBE for the warm welcome, and of course to Nick Wolf and Charlie Barrington from FMG for the invite. We’re looking forward to being up in Toowoomba again soon! #BeefBattle2024 #Innovation #Agriculture
