  • Richmond Wellbeing was proud to be a Diamond Sponsor at the WA Mental Health Conference 2024 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre! Our team had the incredible opportunity to attend and learn from inspiring presenters and experts across various topics associated with mental health. We also had a fantastic time at our exhibitor stall, connecting with other members within the Mental Health sector and sharing information about our sites and services as well as career and training opportunities. Thank you to Western Australian Association for Mental Health for hosting such an insightful event. Many of the presentations were thought-provoking and will provide us with the opportunity to continue discussions that reflect our commitment to mental health recovery and the delivery of safe and transformative services. #solutionsinmotion

Thread Together provides free, brand-new clothing to people in the community over various parts of Australia who are struggling financially. This could include unemployment/financial hardship, people experiencing unstable housing, and people experiencing family domestic violence as well as many other circumstances much as mental health challenges. • This week we have been privileged to host two days of profound learning with Debra Lampshire. We listened deeply as Debra shared the power of Lived Experience in shaping attitudes and practices based on a person-centred approach. We know her insights will help us bridge gaps in service provision and guide our vision for a community where anyone can experience mental health recovery, wellbeing, and have the opportunity to realise their aspirations.   Attendees shared their gratitude for insight gained and the impact this will have on both personal and client outcomes. Here’s a few pearls of wisdom from the “wonderful, honest, inspiring survivor” and “amazing presenter” – Debra Lampshire.   🌟 Voice Hearing is directly related to people’s life experiences 🌟 Even the most outlandish idea has a logical explanation 🌟 Extreme anxiety appears to underpin Voice Hearing   We can’t wait to hear more learnings from our sector colleagues after the “Working with People who Experience Distressing Voices” Masterclass today. We can't wait to learn even more tomorrow in Bunbury! Make sure you follow us on socials if you’d like to know more about our future training opportunities.
