In early 2020, we launched our Mobile Wardrobe service, bringing clothing directly to communities impacted by natural disasters. Now, with 10 vehicles across Australia, we’re able to deliver clothing to individuals and families who need it most. We’re excited to deepen our partnership with Oroton Group, a brand committed to supporting social and environmental change. Through financial and product donations, volunteering, and leveraging their networks, Oroton is helping strengthen our initiatives. Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and the start of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence—a global call to end violence and raise awareness. In Australia, 1 in 4 women have experienced physical and/or sexual violence from an intimate partner since the age of 15. Thread Together assists women and children escaping domestic violence by providing them with immediate access to brand new clothing via our wardrobe and capsule service.
