Lauren commenced in the role on Monday 25 November, and over the next 11 months will work closely with the Host Organising Committee on the delivery of the 2025 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships. The countdown to the 2025 Canoe Slalom World Championships in Penrith continues, with the Host City Agreement signed 🙌 ICF President Thomas Konietzko and Paddle Australia President Andrew Trim signed the agreement, accompanied by ICF Secretary General Richard Pettit and Paddle Australia Chief Executive Kim Crane. The ICF Congress also saw Richard Fox, Head of the Host Organising Committee for Penrith 2025, elected as Chair of the ICF Canoe Slalom Committee for a four-year term following Paddle Australia’s nomination. The Australian Sports Commission is working with researchers from Federation University to better understand the costs involved for both clubs and participants in the lead up to Brisbane 2032. The survey results will be used to assist the ASC to work in partnership with the Australian sport sector to better understand the costs to play and the costs to deliver community sport.
