Our retail centres have been spreading kindness across the globe this festive season, connecting our customers with their loved ones far and wide this Christmas. In a new initiative designed to give back to our local communities, our retail centres across the country have been busy creating Merry Mailboxes, inviting customers to write a complimentary ‘My Kind of Christmas’ postcard before having it sent on their behalf. So far, we’re on track to send over 13,000 postcards - many reaching overseas mailboxes - proving an old-fashioned note never goes out of style! Through our Gifts of Kindness campaign, we’re also aiming to donate over 10,000 gifts and non-perishable food items to support those in need this Christmas. As our centres head into the busiest week of trade for the year, our Head of Portfolio (Retail) Sam Curry reflected on the important role ISPT shopping centres play in the local community. “During December, our centres welcome over 11 million visits across the country, as customers flock in-store for gift shopping and all their Christmas menu needs. These community initiatives are just some of the ways we’re working to give back to our customers and local communities this Christmas.” #retail #customerexperience #community #property #givingback #socialimpact Michelle Rowse Gabriella Bowman Kylie Gordon

We’ve made significant progress towards our goal to power a low carbon future one rooftop at a time, with another five major solar panel installations completed across our portfolio as part of our National Solar PV Project initiative. These rooftop installations at our retail centres Waurn Ponds, Warners Bay, Gungahlin Village, Fletcher Village and Nundah Village, are the latest in our portfolio of over 50 office and retail assets now generating clean and cost-effective energy every day while saving thousands of CO2 emissions in the process. As a result, we have so far saved our tenant partners over $1.5 million in electricity costs and over 12,000+ tonnes of CO2 per year - equivalent to avoiding over 6,000 tonnes of coal burned on an annual basis. It’s all part of our ESG focus to lead with ambition and create better futures. We’ve been shining a light on the impact of gender-based violence these past 16 days as part of this year’s #16DaysofActivism, to support women to feel safe, everywhere and always. As an active member of the Property Council of Australia and Champions of Change Coalition, our teams have been raising awareness by: ▪️ Encouraging our office communities to donate unused phones on behalf of DV Safe Phone via dedicated collection boxes in our office foyers ▪️ Donating the proceeds from the weekly flower auctions within our office buildings to DV Safe Phone, to continue their work to support those in need ▪️ Joined 6,000 of our industry peers to hear the Property Council of Australia’s Tools Down live stream with former Australian sex discrimination Commissioner Elizabeth Broderick, listening to important stories on the impact of domestic and family violence and the role the workplace plays ▪️ Joined over 70 buildings across the country last night by lighting up a selection of our assets in orange to raise ongoing awareness on the impact gender-based violence has globally, and ▪️ Reminded our people of our enhanced leave entitlements that provide unlimited access to Domestic and Family Violence Leave should they need it. This action coincides with our support for the release of the Champions of Change Coalition’s 2024 Impact Report which is committed to accelerating inclusive gender equality in the workplace. The Impact Report details progress, challenges, and innovative strategies to create safe and inclusive workplaces that benefit all employees and the broader community, so people everywhere feel seen, heard and respected. DEVELOPMENT NEWS | We’re pleased to announce that alongside our mandate partner Australian Retirement Trust, we have acquired a site from St John’s College at the University of Sydney to develop a $585 million Healthcare and Life Sciences Hub. The 6,000sqm site is positioned between Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the University of Sydney within the Camperdown Health, Education and Research Precinct (CHERP). CHERP is developing rapidly and will foster growth and economic development, innovation, and ultimately, create new and stronger partnerships across some of Australia’s leading medical institutions and organisations. The acquisition is the third major development in our Healthcare and Life Sciences portfolio, which is now valued at $1.4 billion, unlocking opportunities to meet aging population demands and provide bespoke investment opportunities for our mandate partners. Our Head of Development, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Education Jason Lourensz commented, "The site’s location in the Camperdown Health, Education and Research Precinct is highly advantageous as the precinct comprises other significant public and private health services, education facilities and research centres. The last few years have demonstrated why world-leading healthcare, research and pharmaceutical spaces are an absolute necessity, underpinning our desire to deliver more state-of-the-art healthcare facilities." ART Senior Portfolio Manager – Head of Real Estate, Mark Lee, CFA, GAICD commented, "Australian Retirement Trust’s co-investment with ISPT in the new Camperdown Healthcare and Life Sciences Hub adds to the Fund’s existing suite of investments in the healthcare sector. We are confident it will provide dual benefits in the form of strong returns for our members and enhancing the health and wellbeing of the Sydney community.” Professor Robyn Ward, Executive Dean Medicine and Health at The University of Sydney commented, “The proposed development of St John’s College’s land will enrich our medical science student experience, providing specialised placement opportunities that will nurture the minds of our future medicine and health leaders.” Read more: https://lnkd.in/gQnSgRHm #healthcare #lifesciences #property #propertydevelopment #ISPTCoreFund Chris Chapple Doug Cain Will Walker Amanda Steele Robert Pepicelli Jason Lourensz Andrew Nicol Brett Williams Andrew Fellowes Lachlan Adams Harry Middleton
