  • 🎄 This Christmas, give the gift of compassion For many, the holiday season is a time of togetherness. But for others, it’s a painful reminder of loved ones lost, financial hardship, and feelings of isolation. At Griefline, we’re here every day of the year—including Christmas Day—to provide free, compassionate support to Australians navigating grief and loss. With more people turning to us than ever before, we need your help to ensure no one faces their grief alone. 💙 Here’s how your donation makes an impact: ✨ $25: Supports a caller on our helpline, offering up to 30 minutes of emotional care. ✨ $50: Provides one-hour of essential training for volunteers, equipping them to offer life-changing support. ✨ $500: Funds brochures and support materials shared by GP’s, veterinary clinics, funeral homes, palliative care providers, and more. Every contribution helps sustain our services, reduce isolation, and foster resilience in our community. 🙏 Donate today to help us bring hope and healing this Christmas. ➡️ https://lnkd.in/gWUBCD_k Together, we can ensure no one feels alone in their grief this holiday season. 💙 #GiftOfCompassion #DonateToday #GriefSupport #Griefline

  • This #GivingTuesday, we want to highlight the power of support during times of grief and loss. While donations are vital to the success of Griefline's mission, equally important is the way we show up for one another during grief. 🌺 As December begins and holiday celebrations are underway, we know this time of year can be especially challenging for those who are grieving. Today, we reflect on the most meaningful gifts we can give: empathy, presence, and understanding. These gifts cost nothing, but their impact is immeasurable. 👉 Here are some thoughtful ways to support someone who is grieving: 💬 Send a message — A simple "I'm thinking of you" can offer comfort. 🧑🤝🧑 Listen without judgment — Sometimes, just being there to listen makes all the difference. 🕰️ Offer your time — Helping with everyday tasks or simply sitting together can mean so much. 📖 Share a memory — Remind them that their loved one is always remembered. Grief is deeply personal, and everyone experiences it differently. By offering kindness and compassion, we can help lighten the weight of grief, one small gesture at a time. 💙 #GivingTuesday #GriefSupport #Griefline Image description: two people hold each other's hands.

  • 💔 Our hearts are heavy. We are deeply saddened by the tragic deaths of Holly Bowles, Bianca Jones, and the other lives lost in this devastating tragedy. Though many of us didn’t know them personally, the grief is felt deeply—both here in Australia and around the world. At times like this, it’s clear how connected we all are. Loss reminds us of the importance of community, of showing up for one another with kindness and support. Whether it’s sharing a memory, offering a hug, or simply letting someone know they’re not alone, small gestures can make a big difference. If you or someone you know is struggling with grief, we’re here to help. 📞 Griefline Helpline: 1300 845 745 ⏰ Available 8am to 8pm, 7 days (AEDT) 💙 💛 #CommunityGrief #TogetherInSpirit #SupportAndLove #Griefline
