A Western Australian company dedicated to providing world class Medicinal Cannabis products.

About us

At Forbidden Harvest, we are proud to be a small, locally owned business with a focus on producing the highest standard of products for the Australian and international markets. We want to establish a new culture in the Australian Medical Cannabis industry by focusing on traditional hand crafting practices, slowing down the production line to focus on quality output, ensuring our staff are well supported and maintaining a family business mentality. The product and people are our biggest focus. We believe that success in this industry will be driven by a blend of passion, competency, compassion and above all, understanding the market we serve. As a company, we will never compromise on our objective to ensure that Australia has an industry that reflects the ideals of compassion for patients and respect for the deep rooted culture which has supported them. We will always fight for the rights of patients and industry workers alike and do our best to help progress this industry toward its true potential. All that said, we are extremely excited to announce the creation of Australia's first craft focussed facility, right here in South Western Australia. Hand Crafted. Australian Grown. • What a year 2024 has been! Since beginning operations in South West Australia in September of this year, we have been working hard to ensure our plants, team members and partners are in a good stead to be able to enjoy some time off over the holidays so that we can reflect on how far we have come, and where we are looking to get to in 2025! Just a few of the accomplishments that we are particularly proud of for 2024 include: - Growing our team from 2 staff members to a team of 17 full time employees - Successfully managing the transition in taking over operations at our new facility - Launching Australia's first craft production facility at scale - Implementing a culture of mutual respect, appreciation and above all passion for the final product - Eliminating automated processes from our new line of craft products - Establishing market leading international partners to sure up our genetic supply - Partnering with early market leaders, Little Green Pharma, for the distribution of all Forbidden Harvest flower products in 2025 and beyond There really is too much to mention in a post, but to say that we are thrilled with how the start to our operations has gone would be an understatement. We at Forbidden Harvest hope you have all had a great year so far and enjoy some time over the holidays! We look forward to seeing this business and industry grow over 2025 and into the future. Roll on 2025!

What's the difference between a cannabis company people want to work for and one they want to leave? This question is particularly important at an operational level in any facility. The reality is, a high turnover in growers or trimmers is detrimental to any successful cultivation site. The skills carried by experienced staff are invaluable and ensuring staff have a good work environment is essential to achieving operational goals. Plants aren't grown in the boardroom, they're grown by the dedicated people who choose to spend their time focussed on what's best for the end product. At Forbidden Harvest we choose to focus on skills in the grow room over skills in the boardroom. Our grow team is dedicated to achieving the best, so we support them in getting there, and ensure only the best makes it's way to market. That's how you show the people who count, that you care. It's about what's best for the patients, the plants, and the people who cultivate them. It's about our post harvest teams and the ever important finishing touches they bring to our products. It's about this industry representing what it is capable of, and it's about the future, and all it holds. At Forbidden Harvest, we are excited for what the future holds. Better access for patients, better conditions for growers, better outcomes for all. We look forward to realising this vision ❤️

  • Curing is an often overlooked but essential component of producing medical grade cannabis. The preservation of the terpenes throughout the post harvest process is often the difference between an average product and a well received product. At Forbidden Harvest, we are focused on ensuring that the hard work we put in to our cultivation is not wasted through industrialised post harvest processes. A lack of respect in the post harvest process is a sure fire way to ensure that your product will never reach its true potential. While some producers are solely focused on the mentality that time is money - at Forbidden Harvest, we think time makes quality - and we don't want to waste anyones time with anything less. That's why we only grow in small batches, allowing us to take our time and ensure that only the highest level of output makes it out of our facility. It's about ensuring that what we produce, we would be happy for our families to use to help their conditions. It's about care for the process. It's about care for the outcome. That's the Forbidden Harvest difference - Hand Crafted, Australian Grown.
