🚀 Exciting News from Finder! 🚀 We're thrilled to announce Finder has acquired Grow My Money (https://lnkd.in/gc_tnB43), a groundbreaking cashback platform that transforms everyday spending into contributions toward your superannuation or mortgage. 💡 What does this mean for you? With Grow My Money, Aussies can: ✅ Shop with leading retailers like Appliances Online, Chemist Warehouse, and The Good Guys, and many more. ✅ Earn cashback (up to 20%) automatically credited to their super or mortgage. ✅ Customers who get 2% cashback on their spending, would get $2,090 annually paid directly toward their financial future. Over time, this simple habit can have an incredible impact. Adding $2,090 annually could grow a superannuation balance to $629,789 over 30 years!* 🌟 Empowering Australians Founded by Pascale Helyar-Moray OAM, a passionate advocate for gender equality, Grow My Money has been a lifeline for women, who make up 66% of its members. Only 58% of Australians believe a gender pay gap actually exists in Australia. And only 46% say that they care about it, according to Finder's Equal Pay Day Report, launched today in partnership with UN Women Australia. Today is #EqualPayDay, marking the 50 days into the new financial year that Australian women must work to earn the exact same amount (on average) that men made last year. The latest figures out from Workplace Gender Equality Agency are actually really encouraging, as the gender pay gap has officially fallen to 11.5% in 2024 – down from 12% last year, and 17.2% in 2014. But women are still unquestionably making more sacrifices than men. They still earn less – on average, 11.5%. They still choose roles that suit raising kids, with 36% admitting they’ve sacrificed money or career progression for job flexibility. They still overwhelmingly work more than men around the home: after having kids, the number of unpaid care hours women perform increases 92%, where men only see their unpaid care hours increase 50%. In our Finder research report, we explore the current situation and gather the research to support UN Women's advocacy. UN Women Simone Clarke said, “We are so happy to work with Finder to conduct the research to uncover these insights which will hopefully start many meaningful conversations." https://lnkd.in/g4Qi4QPv
