To our valued community, Today we commenced transition for our leadership team following our Chief Executive's decision to stand down. Over the past 4 years Chris’ leadership has been instrumental in driving innovation and progress at Epilepsy Queensland, inspiring us to explore new ways to fulfill our Mission of bringing hope and improving the lives of Queenslanders living with epilepsy. He fostered a strong, supportive team culture that embraced change and new approaches, and his passion for our cause motivated us all to aim higher. Beyond shaping a bold vision for EQ, Chris elevated our national profile and built vital connections at all levels of government and community, he leaves Epilepsy Queensland a better place and well positioned for the future. As part of the transition process we are pleased to announce that Sandi Rodiger has been appointed Interim Chief Executive following an impressive impact as Head of Service Delivery over the last 2 years. Leonie Hogarth who has worked in a variety of roles with us, most recently in the Epilepsy Smart Australia program management office, has been appointed as Interim Head of Service Delivery. Chris will continue to engage with the organisation supporting both the Board and the interim leadership team on strategic matters through until the end of this year. We are confident in our strategy guided under Chris. This transition period will enable continuity of leadership and the opportunity to ensure our focus remains on being the best version of ourselves, for you. Warm Regards, Sam Bryce Chair on behalf of the Board of Directors
