Website & digital marketing agency for purpose. Helping you do good, better.

About us

Win another client. Do a great job. And repeat. After years at the top of our game in various digital specialties, we reached a point where we asked ourselves: What are we doing, and why? More pertinently, we asked: what do we really want to do? When we sat down and thought about it, we found the answer to this existential quandary was clear. The work we enjoy – the work we love – is the work that makes a difference. It’s where we partner with clients who are on a mission to make the world a better place. To have a positive impact on people’s lives and our planet. So, today, that’s what we do. That’s all we do. We’re Dux Digital, and we’re helping you do good, better.

It was a privilege for Dux to attend the FIA WA Awards night and end-of-year function last week. Not only was it great to see the amazing fundraising and operational work that is coming out of WA but it was also so encouraging to meet passionate and dedicated fundraisers from a range of industries celebrating their peers. 2025 is looking to be an exceptional year for mission-based fundraising in WA and Dux is grateful to be a part of this inspiring cohort. #DoGoodBetter

  • A couple of weeks ago, Dux as a team took a day to slow down, reflect and plan. While it's always great to be busy, it's central to any mission-driven organisation to stop and take stock of past, present and future. This strategy day allowed us to highlight where we want to go in the future, how we want to get there, and who we want to take on the journey with us. It was an intensive day, so photos of the day look a bit stern, but we promise we are focused on doing good, making impact and helping our partners (both current and future) make the difference we know they can.

  • Last week our web development team went to #A11YCamp2024, Australia's premier annual conference on digital accessibility and inclusion. Not only did it give us a chance to keep up to date with the latest trends and innovations in digital accessibility but it also allowed us to discuss our experiences and share our findings when working in the accessibility and inclusion space. Some key findings we took away were: 1. Officially, automated accessibility scanners claim to find 20-30% of accessibility issues, but realistically they may only flag 10-15% of errors that impact users, so real-world user testing is the only way to fully test accessibility. 2. Individual users don’t care about labels and buzzwords (universal, inclusive, equitable etc), they care if a website is functional and works for them. 3. There are enough Australians with digital accessibility needs to cover the entire population of Melbourne! So, no matter what people tell you about it being a fringe benefit, it’s not an insignificant number of users. While not surprising findings, it underlines the need for inclusive web development that reflects real-world user experiences, not just checking off a list and calling it a day! Web developers and marketers at large need to engage with those who will be using the digital space, understand their needs and action real, impactful functionality.

  • There has been a sharp increase in enquiries for new websites and digital marketing in the NFP sector over the last 12 months, and no matter the size or reputation of the organisation, the challenges driving this work are surprisingly consistent. When you are measuring your success on impact, whether it's cultural, social or philanthropic, the needs and goals of a website build can be harder to pin down when compared to standard e-commerce or conversion-based projects. Taking our learnings from recent projects we have done a deep dive into the consistent challenges, and the unique opportunities, building a custom digital space can bring for not-for-profits: ➡️ https://buff.ly/48dokpT #NotForProfit #NFP #NotForProfitMarketing #DuxDigital #Marketing #MarketingPerth #Website
