We recently celebrated International Credit Union Day with our team! Did you know that since 1948, the 3rd Thursday of October is globally marked as ICU Day? It's a way of honouring the history, achievements, and community spirit of credit unions worldwide. We joined millions around the world to celebrate this special day and asked our Credit Union SA members and team to share why they love banking with, or working for, a credit union. Comments like these are what inspires us every day and reminds us why we do what we do! 🧡 Why do you love banking with a credit union?

We were thrilled to welcome the 2024 Customer Owned Banking Association convention to Adelaide last week and have over 21 of our leaders, Executives and Board members attend the event for an amazing few days of learning, development, networking and growth. It was great to hear from experts on a range of important topics including the future of AI, the outlook for our economy, communicating change, having difficult conversations and improving modern leadership skills. Hearing from Rosie Batty and Kelly-ann Tansley from our charity partner The Zahra Foundation Australia was especially powerful for us as we strive to continue supporting our members and community impacted by financial abuse. As part of our commitment to helping our people grow, we were proud to send two Emerging Leaders from our organisation who had the opportunity to take on some extra development and meet peers from across the sector. We're excited to see how we can apply the new insights to continue Helping South Australians Thrive.
