Poor recordkeeping has stripped survivors in New Zealand’s Abuse in Care inquiry of their identities, cultural connections and access to justice. This case is a powerful reminder that poor recordkeeping isn’t just a technical flaw, it is a human rights issue. Smarter, ethical record management is essential to protect lives, preserve personal histories and ensure accountability. Read more in our latest article. Link available in comments.

Manage information and reduce risk. AI powered records, information management, security, discovery and audit automation
About us
Castlepoint Systems' powerful AI-driven platform is the intersection between cybersecurity and data governance. It is the only solution whose ethical AI unlocks information management, eDiscovery, governance, risk, and compliance solutions for the fastest, easiest way to find, manage, protect, and de-risk all of an organisation’s information in a single interface. Founded in 2012 in Australia, the multi-award-winning solution allows governance & risk teams to have a complete view across the whole environment and optimise investment in security, eDiscovery, and compliance processes. With offices in Australia and UK, Castlepoint’s scalable and transparent AI enables organisations to minimise the impact of data breaches to protect people and national security. Trusted by public sector, higher education, critical infrastructure and highly regulated organisations, Castlepoint can compliantly manage all of their holdings, without requiring users to change their business practices or interface with a new system. Records management, security, privacy and regulatory control happens transparently in the background. Castlepoint also adds value to quality managers, security managers and auditors, by surfacing all classified, sensitive, high risk or topical records in the organisation, via a single pane of glass. Castlepoint doesn't require any customisation of your existing systems, or tight integrations that affect their upgrade paths and supportability. It doesn't duplicate records, or have a complex rules engine to maintain. As it uses an automated and modern architecture, it reduces the risk of human error and takes the pressure off resources. Castlepoint is a new paradigm - the Data Castle. From the castle you can oversee and control all of your data - even records that are outside the ‘castle walls’. We take records management to wherever the records are, rather than trying to bring the records inside a separate record keeping system.

The crucial role of democratising access to AI for enhancing the safety and security of public services was in the focus of our conversation at Plexal yesterday. Intelligence Agencies are actively engaging in partnerships with businesses to foster collaboration, promote diverse perspectives, and address global threats effectively. It's inspiring to witness the Australian founder, Rachael Greaves, embedding Castlepoint's solution into British intelligence innovation. In just two years since their first in-market visit, Castlepoint Systems has become a vital contributor to the local AI ecosystem. This collaboration underscores the significance of inclusive and innovative approaches in safeguarding public services and countering emerging challenges. Last month, we travelled to Singapore as part of the UK’s Global Business Innovation Programme on Cyber Security. Singapore’s highly regulated landscape is driving heavy investment in cyber, especially in national security, RegTech, and AI, governed by strict data privacy and risk management. SG organisations face unique challenges from foreign state actors and managing vast data estates across interconnected networks. During our time abroad, we had an incredible time connecting with Singapore’s vibrant cyber, tech, and innovation sectors, and exploring exciting collaboration opportunities. Key highlights included: 1. Networking with industry peers and engaging with the Singapore cyber community. 2. Attending GovWare 2024 and discussing the future of cyber and next wave of GenAI. 3. Meeting with PCS, NCS Group, SGTech, BT Group and ST Engineering. 4. Spending time at CyberSG TIG Collaboration Centre and meeting with Plexal Cyber. It was a fantastic experience, and we look forward to continuing conversations with everyone we met, and to support Singapore businesses meet their cyber, AI, digital enterprise, and Smart Nation aspirations and obligations. A big thank you to InnovateUK for your support and for all you do. Nikesh Mehta, Georgios Papadakis, Shane Chester, Jamie Ollivere, Jens Böhm, Philippa Dean, Hannah Dayah, Jeremy Ong, Andre Pandean, Sophie Ricateau-Dupuis, Adrien ALLAMAND, Melissa T. To our fellow UK innovators, it was a pleasure sharing this journey with you: 1. CyberCyte (Necati Ertugrul, CISSP, Umut Yesilirmak) 2. Ethicronics (Franck Courbon PhD) 3. We were thrilled to be part of the recent PA Women In Technology Hackathon by PA Consulting, an inspiring event that brings together women in technology and innovation to solve real-world challenges using cutting-edge technologies like AI and data science. Castlepoint CEO Rachael Greaves had the privilege of participating in a panel alongside Sam Tunney from The LEAD Network, and Amy Finn and Donald Cameron of PA Consulting. Together, they discussed the intersection of AI, financial health, and inclusion, while also highlighting the critical risks we must keep in mind as this technology continues to evolve. It was incredible to witness so many talented women from across industries come together to tackle the important challenge of financial health and inclusion in just a matter of hours. The innovation, collaboration, and dedication were nothing short of inspiring. Thank you to all those who made the day a great success, including Sophie Jansz, Claudia Pellegrino, Poppy H. from PA Consulting, Amy Caldwell-Nichols (Deputy Director, Data, Analysis, and Insights at His Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS)), Kiran Mahil (CIO of Retail Products at Nationwide Building Society), James Edwards (Director of Digital Marketing & Innovation at Kimberly-Clark), and Jiten Kachhela (Senior WIT sponsor and Global Head of Consulting for Markets, Growth, and Digital).

Exciting news! Castlepoint was included in The Australian's Top 100 Innovators List for 2024 in the "Cyber" category! For the third year running, we're proud to be recognised for our commitment to finding smarter ways to securely store and manage data. Our founders, Rachael Greaves and Gavin McKay, were inspired by years of auditing major failures in information governance projects to create a platform that uses ethical AI to discover, classify, and control every piece of information in an organisation's network. We're proud to still be leading the way in cybersecurity innovation. A big thank you to our incredible team and supporters for making this possible! #Castlepoint #Top100Innovators #CyberSecurity #Innovation #EthicalAI
