We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Barossa Australia and to thank our friends at Alliance of Beverage Licensees (ABLE BC) for including our upcoming event, Barossa Uncorked, in their latest newsletter! 🍷 Knowbie is hosting an exciting event on October 11 that's focused on empowering the people who matter most—front-line hospitality and retail liquor store workers. Technical innovation was on full display in the #Barossa this week as Treasury Wine Estates Penfolds launched an integrated automation and barrel handling system which features nine driverless forklifts, a custom barrel management software system, automated barrel washing and filling facilities, and individual barrel identification. The process currently runs 24 hours a day, five days a week, and will provide significant sustainability, safety and efficiency benefits in this area of operations.

Planning for the 2025 Barossa Vintage Festival to be held from April 23 to 27, 2025, is well and truly underway. An important part of the Festival is the Young Ambassador Program. Open to young adults aged 18 to 25, the program aims to foster networking opportunities, career development and community connection - and much, much more! Participants are supported to develop their leadership skills and confidence and are immersed in opportunities to learn about the rich and diverse culture of the Barossa. The Ambassadors have a hands-on role in the delivery and promotion of the Barossa Vintage Festival, and for many, it is a stepping stone to future leadership and volunteering roles across the broader region. Applications for the 2025 program are currently open. If you know a young adult you feel would benefit from being part of the program, please tap them on the shoulder and encourage them to apply! More information can be found at https://lnkd.in/g_gdTib3 . Applications close July 21, and the program commences in August. We look forward to introducing the 2025 YAB cohort in the near future!
