INTERNS - DSP. ASR is planning to develop a novel RF sensor for autonomous vehicles and remotely operated locations. We are looking for potential Interns (postgrad students for 3 months) to work on the digital signal processing development in Victoria (Melbourne). We require expertise in embedded programming. We will mentor/guide people on signal processing algorithms and the signal processing chain. A call will go out through APRInterns soon, but you can send your CV including a description of how much embedded programming (e.g. Raspberry Pi and C language) expertise you have to [email protected]

News: ASR Defence (Australian Systems Research) has recently been contracted by a deep tech startup in South Australia to undertake sensor integration and mission system development for a novel counter-UAS technology. ASR's first big contract - led by Dr Khusro Saleem. Well done Khusro and looking forward to success with our new industry and university partners. We continue to pursue opportunities in AI-based battlespace control (IAMD, SEAD) (led by Dr Estefania Yap), low SWaPC EW products and the opportunity for Australia to develop its own RF-based guidance systems.

ASR is developing emplaceable EW devices, suitable for a range of applications. Our goal is to create capability for minimum cost and increased ease of utility for autonomous systems as well as tactical operations more broadly. see our website video at https://lnkd.in/gy7QJK3K

Degrading an adversary's integrated air defence system requires dynamic tasking and coordination of stand-off and stand-in assets to maximise the success of long-range strike. This paper decribes the approach taken by ASR Defence using its Battlespace Coordination Engagement and Control. BCEC coordinates stand-in and stand-off assets to degrade the integrated air defence system prior to the kinetic engagement. The BCEC builds on the Battlespace Aspect Design pre-mission planning tool for IAMD, developed for AIR6500 and other systems. For a copy of the paper please email: [email protected]
