The New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department (RLD) regulates more than 500,000 individuals and businesses in 35 industries, professions and trades across the state.

RLD Administrative Services Division IT staff ensure that the department can achieve its mission through dedicated support and teamwork.

How does it get done?
This position is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of new software applications to address specific organizational needs.
This involves coding, testing, and collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements;
Performing ongoing maintenance, updates, and optimization of existing software applications.
This includes troubleshooting, debugging, and ensuring that software systems remain secure and efficient;
Works closely with management, system administrators, business analysts, end-users, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide support, and ensure that developed applications align with organizational goals.

Ideal Candidate
Write efficient and maintainable code in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components to customize and extend Salesforce functionalities.
Assist in designing, development, testing and maintaining of application programming interfaces.
Assist in data migration, integration, and data management tasks within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Perform unit testing and participate in the quality assurance process to ensure the stability and reliability of developed solutions.
Provide support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and implement bug fixes when necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Minimum Qualification
Associate's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, Engineering or similar technical degree and two (2) years of experience in software programming.
