Position Summary F3EA, Inc.
is seeking a qualified FAA Senior Rigger with extensive experience in military and civilian parachute systems.
Senior Rigger will function as a subject matter expert (SME) in parachute system maintenance in support of scheduled Combat Mission Readiness (CMR), advanced and proficiency/currency jump operations.
Role and Responsibilities Provides training pertaining to in-servicing, inspection, maintenance, and repair of current parachute and Aircrew Flight Equipment.
Educate, Train and provide oversight of Aircrew Flight Equipment (AFE) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rigger performance.
Must be a current FAA Senior Parachute Rigger.
Document processes and provide continual process improvement.
Comply with company standard operating policies (SOP) and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities None Required Qualifications and Education Must be current and qualified to maintain the following parachute systems: Required certification as FAA Senior Rigger with chest and back ratings High School Graduate (or higher) with 10 or more years of Rigging Experience United Parachute Technologies (UPT) Vector Harness/Container Performance Designs (PD) Main/Reserve Parachute Canopies CYPRES 2 Automatic Activation Device (AAD) RA-1 Parachute System: BOC and DBSL configurations RA-1 Reserve SOV 3 Parachute System: BOC and DBSL configurations Butler Reserve Parachute System /TT-600/1000 Bundle Recovery System Must have experience in updating all in-process inspection documentation Must have experience updating Flight[KR1] Equipment Records Management System (FERMS) Knowledge of the RA-1 Mini system (270), RA-1 Instructor Raider (IR) System, and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) parachute systems Be proficient in billing/invoice/measure for order of containers, jumpsuits, and canopies Exceptional at organization, multi-tasking, proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, Suite and proper phone etiquette Knowledge/application of formal classroom/field instruction techniques and procedures Must have certificate in Back, and Chest Ratings Performed numerous main and reserve canopy assemblies and inspections Experience in conducting maritime operations that include washing and hanging of systems after water jumps for both Main and Reserve systems Must have experience Military Tandems, BOC and S/L configurations, packing for passenger (MTTB) (400s, 425s, 460s) Must have experience in civilian loft management that include duties such as: Day-to-day operations, billing/invoicing, measure for/order containers, jumpsuits, and canopies Must have extensive Reserve Inspection and Repack experience Must have extensive Main Inspection and Repack experience Maintain all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements, ratings, and privileges Work authorization/security clearance requirements Must be a US Citizen Must be able to obtain/maintain a DOD Security Clearance Physical Demands Must be highly physically fit to include all fundamentals of fitness (strength, endurance, cardio, flexibility and body composition).
Must be able to pack parachutes outdoors for eight (8) hours a day.
Conduct Parachute Equipment training/instruction functions in accordance with applicable Air Force, DoD and FAA guidance and regulations.
Additional Notes Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and constantly changing environment.
