Job Description Huntington Ingalls Industries - Mission Technologies (HII-MT) is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support the Space Protection and Response Solutions at Kirtland Airforce Base.
In this role, you will be supporting a development team through day-to-day operations throughout the complete development cycle.
You will be responsible for setting up and managing the development environment, configuring and maintaining cloud services, and managing CI/CD pipelines.
To be successful in this role, you will You will have experience leading software development teams, maintaining compliance and security controls, monitoring operations, and improving development processes when needed using DevSecOps principles.
Successful candidates will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Essential Job Responsibilities Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.
Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system.
Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.
Minimum Qualifications 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
Knowledge and some experience in a DevSecOps role Working knowledge of GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm, and AWS Understanding of writing CI/CD pipelines Experience creating processes and process documentation.
Must be able to bend, reach, crawl, stoop and lift up to 50lbs.
Must be able to obtain and maintain up to a TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, software engineering, or related discipline.
Highly skilled in set-up and maintenance of GitLab Environment Experience with MATLAB and LabVIEW Understanding in configuring and maintaining cloud services Experience working on DoD development projects.
Current or past DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
Physical Requirements Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of meeting the requirements of jobs.
