.@USTreasury ’s Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctioned 26 companies, individuals, and vessels associated with the Al-Qatijri Company, a Syrian conglomerate. They are responsible for generating hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Qods Force and the Houthis through the sale of Iranian oil to Syria and the People’s Republic of China. The Al-Qaterji Company’s sale of Iranian petroleum products sustains the IRGC-QF’s destabilizing activities throughout the Middle East, including the targeting of U.S. forces. .@USTreasury will take all available measures to restrict illicit funding for Iran’s malign regional agenda. Gulf sovereign wealth funds, including Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), dominate global sovereign investments according to Matthew Martin's Bloomberg report. People often look to the Gulf as a source of inward investment to their own countries and businesses and the potential is huge. But another interesting side to the Gulf Investment story is the potential of investing in Saudi Arabia. According to a Goldman Sachs report on Saudi Arabia's National Investment Strategy, published at its launch late last year, USD$ 3.3 Trillion is set to be invested in the Kingdom's local economy to enable Saudi Vision 2030.
