Lets talk... *Process* - Why don't you receive engagement after you press the apply button? How to avoid being missed in the large pile of applicants? As a Recruiter settling into the UAE market, having previously worked in the UK - I can absolutely, no doubt say that the volume and competition in the UAE is unlike anything you could imagine. It is crazy competitive, theres a significant amount of talent either already based here - or looking to relocate here. The biggest struggle out here for many candidates is the ability to be seen once you have hit that apply button. Why? Because any one job advert can receive 1000 - 4000 applications (And thats on a good day, depending on the role this can be as high as 7000). In Q2 of this year in the UK the average Perm Consultant made 4 placements and the average Temp Consultant made 6 placements. (UK) When we looked at the consultants at the Top 5 agencies on Recruiter Insider for Candidate Experience, we discovered that: 🚀 the average Perm Consultant there made 5 placements 🚀 the average Temp Consultant made 10 placements. In Q2 alone, the agencies with the highest candidate experience scores made 1 extra Perm placement per consultant and an 4 extra temp placements per consultant. Highlighting as always the impact candidate experience has on your placement numbers. The data doesn’t lie, an improved candidate experience means more placements. I've just been speaking at length to a new client this morning about how myself and Hays can support for multiple Sales hires in Dubai. During the call I made it clear that our preference is to meet face to face, ideally at their office and take a really in depth brief of the company, their USPs, work culture and more. And we do this for a specific reason. In order to attract the best talent in the market for your company, people who are more than likely happy and content in their roles, we must approach them with a very clear and compelling overview of your business.
