The naming ceremony of the EMEM FPSO was a celebration of a project that epitomizes innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence. Originally the MV Cactus, the vessel has undergone a remarkable transformation at Drydocks World, equipped to process 70,000 barrels of liquids daily and store 1 million barrels of crude oil. We were honoured to host Senator Kashim Shettima, Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, whose presence underscored the significance of this milestone for the region's energy future. As the EMEM FPSO prepares to support Nigeria's Okwok field, we are proud to contribute to the country's energy security and sustainable development. We are proud to announce the commencement of the KMG Buoys and PLEMs Project with a steel cutting ceremony. This significant event marks the start of fabricating two Catenary Anchor Leg Mooring (CALM) Buoys and two Pipeline End Manifolds (PLEMs) as part of our collaboration with Bluewater Energy Services B.V. for the Caspian Pipeline Consortium’s maintenance program. The CALM Buoys and PLEMs are meticulously designed to support the marine oil export terminal with enhanced efficiency and durability, ensuring long-term operational success. These critical components represent our commitment to engineering excellence and sustainability in marine and offshore projects. As we embark on this project, we continue to solidify our position as a global leader in advanced offshore solutions. We are delighted to announce our partnership with GE Vernova for the groundbreaking Ostwind 4 project—a transformative 2 GW offshore wind grid connection in collaboration with 50Hertz Transmission GmbH. This milestone reflects our commitment to delivering cutting-edge offshore infrastructure and advancing Germany's renewable energy goals. With innovative 525 kV bipolar HVDC technology, Ostwind 4 will efficiently connect Baltic Sea wind farms to the national grid, supplying clean energy to nearly 2 million homes. Fabricated at Drydocks World's state-of-the-art facilities, the project's offshore converter station will stand as a symbol of engineering excellence and environmental stewardship. We are proud to deliver advanced engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) solutions that reflect our dedication to sustainability and innovation. The Drydocks World team recently participated in the 6th Dubai Labour Sport Tournament’s Marathon Run, demonstrating our dedication to diversity, well-being, and athletic excellence. We’re proud to have had 16 employees rise to the challenge, including five inspiring female competitors, who showcased the unity and determination that define our workplace culture. Special mentions to: Ilyas Melepath, for finishing 8th in the 5km race. Jayawanthi Priyadarshani, one of our first female participants, who placed 11th in the 3km race! These accomplishments are a testament to the strength of teamwork and our collective commitment to success. Since 2015, Drydocks World and the Kuwait Fund for Economic Development have partnered to create opportunities that transcend borders, fostering collaboration and growth across the GCC. Over nine impactful years, this initiative has trained 25 talented graduates, equipping them with the skills to lead and succeed. Meet Asaimani Natarajan, a skilled Mechanical Fitter at Drydocks World, UAE! From mastering advanced mechanical techniques to becoming the first recipient of our ‘Principle Star of the Month’ award in September 2023, Asaimani’s journey reflects his remarkable achievements and dedication. Asaimani’s journey is a remarkable story of perseverance and growth. He began his career with us as a blaster painter in 2017 and quickly found his passion for mechanical work. Outside of his duties, Asaimani spent extra hours observing and learning in our mechanical workshop, displaying an unwavering commitment to developing his skills. Building on his success, he progressed from working in the valve section, where he honed his technical abilities, to the engine section, taking on advanced tasks like ceramic coating and engine liner honing. His proactive approach and commitment to excellence have made him an invaluable member of the team. Thank you, Asaimani, for your dedication, hard work, and the inspiration you bring to our team every day. You truly embody the values that drive Drydocks World forward!

We recently held the "Women in Leadership: Empowering Emerging Leaders" awards ceremony, a milestone event dedicated to empowering women in our workforce. The ceremony at the DP World pavilion brought together colleagues and guests to celebrate the achievements of 32 remarkable women. Over an intensive four-week training program, these changemakers gained essential skills and insights, preparing them to navigate and lead in today’s complex business landscape. The event featured inspiring addresses from our CEO, Capt. Rado Antolovic PhD and Joanne Traice, Group Chief Internal Audit Officer, DP World who both emphasized our commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace. Capt. Rado highlighted our drive to break down barriers in the maritime sector, while Joanne shared her own journey, encouraging our participants to lead with resilience and purpose, and to be a catalyst for meaningful change.
