With Dimensional Descent, Raär develops an EP with a dense environment of complex, subtle crevices, from which he conjures up a procession of patterns with the air of mystical, powerful creatures. Over the course of this 8-track opus, he constructs and stretches a suffocating, dark atmosphere, the mother matrix of a techno sometimes lined with a sulfur-acidified dub, articulated by matt, massive rhythms.
Criss-crossed by ultra-velocity percussion and organic bursts, and pierced by celestial voice-like breakthroughs, Raär's sonic labyrinth is a skilfully orchestrated space-time continuum of pulsations that prevents surrender and allows no salvation. Only trance will be allowed.
