Bay Rim 04:09
Little Terrors, I thought you always meant well. I went running home to mama. Went running home to tell. The Bay Rim's burning, babe. The Bay Rim is always catching fire. We planted all the wrong trees. Grasses thirsty now. We're doing the best we can. And we never meant any harm. Just raising up our children, keeping blankets warm.

I know your touch, but not who you are. Oh please tell me, have I come too far? I know your name, but not what you want. Oh how much longer will memories haunt me? Don’t know about you. And I don’t have a clue. Because we’ve built a bridge we cannot cross. Gave you my all. It was not enough. I don’t know you. Man, oh man. Who on Earth are you? Guess it was my fault, thinking that I knew. But I’m fire inside and I will burn till it’s all over. Smile at all you’ve learned about me. Don’t know about you. And I don’t have a clue. Because we’ve built a bridge we cannot cross. Gave you my all. It was not enough. I don’t know you.

I have been away for a second or two. Saw them sway from heaven to blue. Fading pieces of a life, a love. Blind stroll on Earth. Was there say from above? You. I’d love to say that we were meant to meet. I’d love to say our touch was God-sent. Honestly, I’m probably wrong. I’m probably new at this game. Probably making up stories that you felt the same. You. When I looked at you and me, even the very first sight, I saw a pair of children learning...learning that they were alive. Gazing out at the future. Ready there swinging hands. Such different two people. Thought together we could stand. Sometimes I pretend that everything makes sense That life was planned this way in a greater story’s dance. I’d live out my lot. Regret would be forgot. You.

Keep your light on. I’ve got a far way to go. And if all is over and done, you’ve got to tell me so. Keep Your light on. Don’t let me shine here alone. If love truly is a song, don’t let me sing it here alone. Keep your light on. It’s the brightest I’ve ever known. I guess bright’s just not enough, when it ain’t warm. It ain’t home. Keep your light on.

Painted a picture of what would become. Gonna be somebody of Earth and Sun. I’m learning how to sail the seas, bounce in my knees. Till tomorrow my feet are on sand. When day breaks, I’ll be free from land. My ship and I, we will carry a tune. Me alone under the moon. I will sink. I will swim. I will drown. I will find my heaven, if I keep sailing around. Sunset will follow the crashing waves. Ok that tomorrow will be a lonely day. I’m ready. Helped me climb mountains when my feet were sore. We shared the mystery beyond the shore. And though I miss you everyday, I’ve got to sail away. I will sink. I will swim. I will drown. I will find my heaven if I keep sailing around. Sunset will follow the crashing waves. Ok that tomorrow will be a lonely day. I’m ready.

Fading Light 04:40
Fading light is all I’ve come to. Because we’re breaking after we meet. There’s no in between. Heart’s in a knot. And a dot dot dot marks where I wanted to say that I loved these days. And I might love you too. But it’s making me blue. Because I can’t be there, darling with you. Today. Not even tomorrow. And maybe not even next year. So, give me today. So far from sorrow. So far I won’t shed a tear. We’ve had it all, so I am happy to be here. Don’t want no babies. Don’t want no wedding ring. I like living alone, in my home doing my own thing. Just wanted a chance at this thing. But it’s making me blue. Because I can’t be there, darling with you. Today. Not even tomorrow. And maybe not even next year. So, give me today.
