Looking for working band, sub work and/or session work.
Blues, 60s, 70s, 80s rock, oldies, roots rock, old R&B, etc.
I already know most of the classics and am a fast study and can be up to speed yesterday on anything I don't already know.
Have experience with just about everything, but blues and classic rock are my foundation.
Formally and informally trained, good for both reading gigs and rocking gigs.
No modern country, please.
No acoustic duo gigs, please.
Have good equipment, versatile, reliable, experienced, no alcohol or drug issues, no criminal record, and I prefer to keep it professional.
Can sing and harmonize, have front man experience, but I'm only willing to be front man for certain songs/styles.
Otherwise I prefer just a good solid working situation with gigs and bandmates who are available.
I am older and not a hobbyist and need to be playing gigs if I'm in a band, so please no beginners or bands stuck on hold becuase of "that guy" who's never available.
I am skilled and know musical language, looking for same.
I do have jam space with PA, amps and a small e-drum kit in Newark, will travel for the right gig.
