During these 16 Days of Activism, we shine a spotlight on the hidden impacts of domestic abuse in the workplace.   Abuse isn’t just physical—it extends to sexual, psychological, and economic harm, creating barriers to victims' safety and stability. Here's how abuse manifests and affects professional lives:   ◦ Physical Abuse: Visible injuries or threats from an abusive partner can undermine an employee’s ability to function at work. ◦ Sexual Abuse: Unwanted advances or harassment by an intimate partner create distress and emotional upheaval in the workplace. ◦ Psychological Abuse: Manipulation or threats lead to anxiety, trauma, and reduced productivity. ◦ Economic Abuse: Financial control strips victims of independence, sometimes forcing job loss.   Abuse often unfolds in patterns, with minor acts escalating into devastating outcomes.
