Keep it light and flavourful this summer with these fresh #GrainFieldChickens chicken lettuce wraps 🥬🍗 You will need: *2 cups Grain Field Chickens cooked chicken (shredded or finely diced) *1 tbsp sesame oil *1 clove garlic, minced *1 tsp fresh ginger, grated *½ cup julienne carrots and ½ cup of julienne cucumber *1 green onion, finely sliced *1 head butter lettuce or iceberg lettuce (separate leaves carefully) Dressing: *3 tbsp soy sauce *1 tbsp rice vinegar *1 tbsp sesame oil *1 tbsp honey *1 tsp sriracha (optional, for heat) *1 tsp fresh ginger, grated *1 clove garlic, minced *Optional Garnishes: Crushed peanuts, cashews, Sesame seeds, green onions Method: 1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, sriracha, ginger, and garlic. Adjust to taste for sweetness or spice. 2. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. 3. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds). 4. Stir in the cooked chicken. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through. 5. Mix in half of the Asian dressing and toss to coat evenly. Remove from heat. 6. Lay a lettuce leaf flat and add chicken into the center. Add the cucumber and julienne carrots. 7. Drizzle with a little extra dressing and sprinkle with green onion, sesame seeds, or crushed nuts if desired. 8. Arrange the lettuce wraps on a serving platter and enjoy the #TasteOfGFC. Moroccan Chicken Tagine You will need: *2 kg Grain Field Chickens chicken thighs or drumsticks *2 large onions, diced *4 cloves garlic, minced *2 preserved lemons, quartered *1 cup (150 g) olives *1 cup (150 g) dried apricots *½ cup (75 g) almonds, toasted *1 tsp cumin *½ tsp cinnamon *1 tsp paprika *2 cups (500 ml) chicken stock *3 tbsp olive oil *Salt and pepper, to taste Method: 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot and brown the GFC chicken pieces. Remove and set aside. 2. Sauté onions and garlic in the same pot. Add cumin, cinnamon, and paprika, stirring for 1 minute. 3. Return the chicken to the pot. Add preserved lemons, olives, and chicken stock. Simmer for 30 minutes. 4. Stir in dried apricots and almonds. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes. 5. Serve over couscous for a festive presentation. Serving tip: Serves 8–10

You will need: *2 cups Grain Field Chickens chicken breasts or thighs, Cooked and diced *1 cup Mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, etc.), cooked *1 cup Creamy chicken soup or white sauce *2 large Puff pastry sheets *1 Egg (for egg wash), beaten Method: 1. Preheat your oven to 200°C 2. Mix cooked GFC chicken, vegetables, and soup in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. 3. Cut puff pastry into circles slightly larger than the cups of a muffin tin. 4. Line each muffin cup with pastry, fill with the chicken mixture, and cover with another pastry circle. Seal the edges and brush with egg wash. 5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the pies are golden brown and puffed. 6. Serve warm. Serving tip: Serves 12 (12 mini pies)

Thinking of a quick, healthy lunch to throw together in the midst of the festive season planning? Try this #GrainFieldChickens grilled chicken and avocado wrap 🌯 and enjoy the #TasteOfGFC You will need: *1½ cups Grain Field Chickens cooked chicken (shredded or sliced) *2 large whole wheat wraps *1 avocado, sliced *½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved *1 cup mixed greens (spinach, arugula, or lettuce) *½ cucumber, thinly sliced *¼ red onion, thinly sliced (optional) *¼ cup Greek yogurt *1 tbsp lemon juice *½ tsp garlic powder *Salt and pepper, to taste Method: 1. In a small bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. 2. Lay the whole wheat wraps flat. Spread a thin layer of the yogurt dressing over each wrap. 3. Layer the mixed greens, GFC chicken, avocado slices, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion (if using) evenly in the center of each wrap. 4. Fold in the sides of the wrap, then roll tightly from the bottom. Use a toothpick to secure it if needed. 5. Slice each wrap in half and serve immediately with a side of fresh fruit or a light salad for a complete meal.

Start the holiday right this festive season with our #GrainFieldChickens Chicken Satay Skewers with Peanut Sauce. The #TasteOfGFC has never been tastier 😏 You will need: *1kg Grain Field Chickens fresh chicken breast cut into thin strips *¼ cup Soy sauce (for the chicken marinade) *2 tbsp Honey *2 cloves, minced garlic *1 tsp, minced ginger *½ cup Peanut butter *2 tbsp Soy sauce (for the peanut sauce) *2 tbsp Lime juice *½ cup Coconut milk Method: 1. Combine ¼ cup soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Add chicken strips and marinate for at least 1 hour. 2. Thread the chicken onto skewers. Grill or pan-fry until cooked through, about 3–4 minutes per side. 3. For the peanut sauce, mix all ingredients in a small pot and heat gently until smooth. 4.
