Another year, another cryptic press invitation for Apple’s annual iPhone event. This year’s invite inspired conjecture on what the colorful visual riff on the rainbow Apple logo of yesteryear might suggest. New colors coming to the iPhone and Apple Watch? Probably. A relaunch of the transparent plastic iMac? Probably not.
Today, you can get the answers to your burning speculations.
The annual iPhone event starts at 10 am Pacific (1 pm Eastern) on Tuesday, September 10. Apple is expected to unveil three new iPhone models, a new Apple Watch, and so much more.
Even if you’re not in Cupertino, you can catch the festivities via a livestream.
For the very first time this year, Apple is streaming its iPhone launch event on YouTube. We've embedded the livestream here to make it easy.
It used to be that you needed an iOS device to watch the stream in a mobile browser, but the addition of YouTube as a streaming option has greatly increased the potential audience that can tune into Apple's big show.
The video feed will also be streamed directly to Apple’s website and you can tune in there if you prefer—or if there are any problems with the YouTube stream.
You can still watch on your Roku, Fire TV, or Apple TV, and seeing the presentation on the big screen is still the best experience. On any streaming box, just launch the stream inside the YouTube app (search for "Apple event" to find it). If you have an Apple TV, you can also download the Apple Events App from the App Store or just stream from your device via AirPlay.
