If I Had an Excuse to Go to Vegas, These 10 Outfits Would Be in My Suitcase

It may not be the newest song on my playlist, but ever since "Vegas" by Doja Cat came out, I've been daydreaming about an opportunity to travel to Sin City. There's nothing that I love more than overdressing for a day at the pool or a night out. I'm always pulling together look after look for whatever vacation opportunities may lie in my future, and I'm hoping that Vegas will be next on the list. I can already see the people of this city as a great audience for my OOTNs.

Now, I bring you to my mood board of the many looks that I would try to copy on a trip to Vegas. While most of these photos weren't taken on the Strip, they would fit right in with all of the lights and action. These 10 outfits are must-sees.

A sequin miniskirt is an absolute must when you're packing up your suitcase for any trip, especially one that occurs in Las Vegas. I'm obsessing over the statement earrings and black top that make this look absolute perfection.

For a fashion-person moment on your bachelorette trip, you'll want to have an outfit like this in your suitcase. It's a unique take on bridal that makes for a standout outfit. If I was getting married soon, I'd wear this skirt at any opportunity.

Vegas is known for its pool parties, so if I'm being honest, my outfit for that particular occasion would be the first one I'd plan. I think a swimsuit with statement jewelry and cool sunglasses is a winner.

I love a dress I can wear for a casual night or dressed up for a night out on the town. A dress like this can be worn for so many occasions. While I'd buy it for my Vegas trip, I'd wear it again for a family function or at an important work event.

An LBD is an absolute classic. If you haven't already found the right one for your personal style, keep looking because I promise it's out there.

Like dresses, matching sets are something I like to always have handy before a vacation. They make getting dressed so easy. This one would be perfect for a flashy night out in Vegas.

Having mesh pieces in your closet will make getting dressed for a night out very easy. It's a vibe that feels very right now and would be the perfect match for a special event that you may consider attending.

My ideal night involves having dinner with a bottle of wine and then heading straight to bed. This is the kind of outfit that would be perfect for that occasion. I'd like to have a night in Vegas that begins and ends at Carbone. P.S. I think Carrie Bradshaw would approve of this look.

If you're as extra as me, you'll appreciate this moment. If you're attending a wedding in Vegas, dress up like a gift.

For me, a pop of red isn't going anywhere. This color moment qualifies as a trend that Vegas would certainly appreciate.

Sierra Mayhew was always destined to work in fashion, but she didn't know it at first. Growing up with no choice but to wear a rotation of school uniforms and activewear, her love for fashion really blossomed when she moved away for college and was able to finally define her very own personal style. Shortly thereafter, she interned at Elle magazine and instantly knew that editorial was for her. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, she worked for ShopBazaar, contributing regularly to Bazaar.com, and finally made her way to Who What Wear, where she is an associate editor. When she’s not working, you can catch her always trying to catch a flight, trying the latest fitness craze in New York City, or exploring luxury vintage boutiques.
