You know, one of the things about diabetes we often forget is it’s actually a disease of the muscle. What’s the biggest consumer of blood sugar in the human body? It’s your muscle. And when your muscle is happy and healthy, it consumes more blood sugar. So, it makes sense kind of physiologically that exercise should be so powerful in both the prevention and the treatment of diabetes.
