Ready to book a quick trip to Philly now?
Thanks to a new limited-time offer, travel to Philly in fall and winter 2020 is easier — and less expensive.
Between November 13 and November 25, 2020, travelers can book the Amtrak Philly Fare offer for 50% off tickets on Acela and Northeast Regional for travel to Philadelphia from D.C., New York City, Baltimore, Boston and New Haven.
Booking the fare is easy: go online to Amtrak.com and reserve your ticket with Amtrak using code V642.
A few details: Reserve your ticket at least a day in advance between November 13 and November 25 and the deal is valid for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays anytime between November 2, 2020 to March 31, 2021.
Plus, there are no change fees for any Amtrak reservations made by December 31, 2020, so book now and adjust plans as needed (but cancellation fees would apply).
We recommend purchasing the deal as a simple and affordable way to encourage friends or family to safely come and escape to Philly in the future.
In 2020, Amtrak’s enhanced cleaning and safety measures put the safety and health of its team and travelers first.
Most trains have limited ticket sales, allowing for plenty of space for physical distancing, and masks are required for all riders (and employees, too). The team at Amtrak has also ramped up the frequency and intensity of cleaning. Plus, for now, it’s cashless payments exclusively.
