Kevin Anderson, editor and digital strategist, the Media Development Loan Fund
Kevin is editor and digital strategist for the Media Development Loan Fund's Knowledge Bridge project, which helps independent news organisations to make the transition to digital. Kevin has over fifteen years of digital journalism experience. In 1998, he became the first online journalist for the BBC outside of the US, based in the BBC's flagship Washington bureau. In 2006, he joined the Guardian as their first blogs editor and later became digital research editor. From 2010 to 2012, as an independent strategist he worked with news organisations including Al Jazeera, India's Network18 and Reed Business Information

Phil has responsibility for defining and delivering the BBC's online digital services for the London Olympics in 2012. These services will be delivered via desktop, mobile browser, mobile and tablet apps, traditional satellite and cable TV Red Button services, gaming devices, smart TV's and social spaces
