Taylor Swift made a colorful splash in New York City on Friday night for a girl's night out that required a fabulous designer outfit.
The superstar and Eras Tour singer made her way to Chez Margaux restaurant in Manhattan's Meatpacking District to meet friend and actor Zoë Kravitz. Walking through a crowd of paparazzi, as she's become so accustomed to on her nights out in New York, Swift showed off her taste for corsets in a stunning Vivienne Westwood number.
Swift wore a classicly shaped Sunday Dress by the designer, that featured intricate swirls of color layered on Westwood's iconic plaid pattern. The bodice was corseted and hung off of Swift's shoulders, while the skirt billowed out into a different-color pattern of blue and beige stripes. The pop star has been known to have an affinity for corsets, often seen wearing them while watching boyfriend Travis Kelce play at Kansas City Chiefs games or out on the town.
Swift paired the Vivienne Westwood dress with a pair of velvet Aquazurra Twist 95 sandals and a tiny black purse that looked like it could hold no more than a small wallet. Her neckline was adorned with a bold coin-shaped necklace, while her makeup featured a sharp cat-eye and bold orange-red lipstick.
Swift's night out with Kravitz comes just one week after reports surfaced that the actor and Channing Tatum had broken up. On October 29, People reported that the power couple had called off their engagement after three years together. The split happened just after the pair had gone on a press tour together for their film, Blink Twice, giving adorable anecdotes about each other and speaking fondly of their relationship. Tatum even revealed in one interview that he had spent quite a bit of time with Kravitz's pal Taylor Swift and even got to enjoy some of her famous cooking.
Kravitz was photographed wearing a black coat with a beige slip skirt underneath and pointed kitten heels to her dinner with Swift, which we can only imagine is a debrief on the recent breakup.
