The stars were out in full force for the Wicked premiere in Los Angeles, as Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, and the rest of the cast celebrated the release of the first chapter of their movie musical. (The original Elphaba and Glinda were there, too; Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth joined Erivo and Grande on the carpet.) Though she didn't walk the red carpet, Blue Ivy Carter was present for the premiere, looking like a princess in a Glinda-pink dress.
As noted by Pop Base, Carter was spotted at the premiere wearing an ankle-length pastel pink column gown with a fitted, sculpted bodice and draped detailing. The skirt was a simple, straight silhouette, hitting right above Carter's ankles and ending with a pair of simple metallic sandals. Carter wore her hair pulled partially up, with the length worn over one shoulder and down her back, and styled her pretty pink dress with a pink shoulder bag and some gold jewelry, including a few bracelets and some delicate layered necklaces.
Though she didn't pose for photos, fans loved Carter's sweet ode to Glinda's signature color. “Oh she’s taking over the world we love to see it,” wrote a fan on X/Twitter. “She is a Glinda girl as expected,” wrote another.
Carter is growing up right before our eyes; she celebrated her twelfth birthday this year and has been accompanying her parents to more high-profile events lately. Not only did she dance alongside her mom on the Renaissance tour, but she also joined her dad Jay-Z onstage at the Grammy Awards. Carter is set to make her acting debut as Kiara, Nala and Simba's daughter, in Mufasa: The Lion King; Beyoncé will also return to play Nala.
In July, Blue Ivy Carter won a BET YoungStars Award, and her grandma Tina Knowles shared the sweetest words about her “little superstar” granddaughter. “I marvel at your talent, your beauty, your intelligence, but I am most proud of your kindness and down-to-earth attitude. Never attention seeking, just cool and chill as a cucumber all the time.”
