While Colin Farrell's prosthetic-heavy appearence in Matt Reeves' film The Batman was impressive, nobody anticiapted an entire HBO show based around the character. Unlike previous depictions of the feathered foe, this Penguin feels closer to the gritty underworld of The Sopranos than Burgess Meredith's cigarette-holder chomping villany.
