Data Release 11

Data Release 11 (DR11) was the penultimate data release of the SDSS-III, including data obtained by the project through summer 2013. DR11 was released simultaneously with the more comprehensive and complete Data Release 12 (DR12), which is the final SDSS-III data release, encompassing all data taken by SDSS-III through its completion.

DR11 data are distributed primarily to provide reproducibility of published results based on the DR11 data set. As such, not all data-access interfaces are supported for DR11.
