Operate Multimedia
Projector
• A projector is an output device that takes images
generated by a computer or Blu-ray player and
reproduce them by projection onto a screen, wall, or
another surface. In most cases, the surface projected
onto is large, flat, and lightly colored. For example,
you could use a projector to show a presentation on
a large screen so that everyone in the room can see
it. Projectors can produce either still (slides) or
moving images (videos). A projector is often about
the size of a toaster and weighs only a few pounds.
How to operate projector?
• Remove the projector's lens cover.
• Connect the power cord to the projector's power inlet.
• Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet. The projector's power light
turns orange. This indicates that the projector is receiving power, but is
not yet turned on (it is in standby mode).Note: With Direct Power
On turned on, the projector turns on as soon as you plug it in.
• Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn on
the projector. The projector beeps and the power light flashes green as
the projector warms up. After about five seconds, the power light stops
flashing and turns green.Warning: Never look into the projector lens when
the lamp is on. This can damage your eyes and is especially dangerous for
children.
Digital Camera
• A digital camera is a hardware device that
takes photographs and stores the image as
data on a memory card. Unlike an analog
camera, which exposes film chemicals to light,
a digital camera uses digital optical
components to register the intensity and color
of light, and converts it into pixel data. Many
digital cameras are capable of recording video
in addition to taking photos.
Audio and Video
• Audio is a term used to describe any sound or noise in a range
the human ear is capable of hearing. Measured in hertz, the
audio signal on a computer is generated using a sound card
and heard through speakers or headphones.
• Any digital information with speech or music stored on and
played through a computer is known as an audio file or sound
file. One of the most common types of audio file formats used
today is the MP3. Clicking the triangular button on the
following embedded player plays a short MP3 file in your
browser.
• In general, a video or video clip is a series of electronic signals used to generate a
steady source of still images, which simulate movement. Videos can utilize graphics,
pictures, or text, and are used for entertainment, education or other purposes. Today,
many web pages have downloadable or streaming video that visitors can watch on
their computer. Below is an example of YouTube video.
• Over the history of computers there have been many different video file formats that
can be used for videos. Below is a list of some of the popular types of video files.

devices, such as Blu-Ray players or LED TVs. HDMI can carry
